Five dollar f*cky f*cky.

Dark Knight's a great action film, but fails in comparison. Without a second thought.

Sorry, man. You're just too beaucoup for me. You Canadian boys pack too much meat.

Anyway. Slumdog is good and all, but I would never call it a great movie. The story is fun and Anecdotal. Full Metal Jacket on the other hand is much deeper, darker, and is what I believe (prepare to be shocked Apocalypse Now fans), the best Vietnam war movie.

Damn.....

I'm going to have to go with TDK on this one. I love Full Metal Jacket, but TDK was just magic for me. Lots of great war films, but not many great Comic films.

It's your god damn Happy Otter Canadian Ale, makes people think TDK is Slumdog. You fiend. Shifty41s_beerhatsmilie2.gif

Anyway. FMJ for me, TDK is a great film and all but, going up against one of Kubrick's best films isn't going to go well. FMJ is as some have put it. two films in one, and even though I prefered the first half more, the second half was pretty outstanding too I think that one of the hidden views here is the fact that a group of men, where getting killed by a woman, which I imagine was quite a novel concept at the time. The first half though is truly great seeing sock soap weapon is pretty good. tounge.gif

Oh yeah, it was a huge step forward for women's rights, at the time. WAY back in the dark ages of 1987.

Yeah?

No, what I meant is that, A group of male soldiers, where getting gunned down by a chick, Basically. I wasn't reffering to women's rights in any way.

But whatever, seems like I've dug my own grave here.

I think Dark Knight is the better film. Definitely overrated, but better in terms of acting, plot depth, and overall quality. Full Metal Jacket is good, but there are better Vietnam films and better Kubrick films out there. TDK is probably the best Nolan film there is, and he's one of the most talented modern directors there is. Both films are grounded in a dark and gritty realism, but Heath's Joker and the Batman legacy win this one by a long shot for me.

As a matter of fact I did.

Not to mention I had to wake up early. Either way, Full Metal Jacket wins my vote.

FMJ was an easy choice for me. It is a remarkably twisted movie, even for a war film. The Dark Knight may be the greatest superhero film but I can't quite put it on the same scale.

f*cking amazing use of spoiler tags.

I don't get what you are trying to say. Come on, you think by 87 they hadn't had female killers before? I mean that was just the reality of it. The Vietcong had women fighting for them - f*cking savages.

Besides. It's more about Joker having to put her out of her misery than anything. Born to Kill indeed.
