Ziggy455 Posted December 14, 2009 Share Posted December 14, 2009 Due to the events of James Earl Cash in Manhunt more events are sparking up in Carcer City, I'll be revisiting old characters, places and protaganists. Basically a sequel to the original manhunt Nice one. I got a feeling I'll be into that. Yeah, I thought not enough was covered about Carcer in number two, although I'm thinking of throwing in a narrative stand-a-lone chapter dedicated to an unknown character near cottonmouth For die hard fans of Manhunt you'd know what I mean "I might have laughed if I'd have remembered how." Though I'm ashamed to say I never heard of Manhunt till Kaden brought it to my attention around last October and I wikipedia'd it, being pleasantly surprised that a certain type of film played a part in the game. Although I do love the Manhunt universe, well the Rockstar Universe since all their games are wrapped cleverly together. Since no loose ends were tied up about the corrupt police officer who is mentioned in Grand Theft Auto III and is an unseen character on Manhunt, I'm thinking of adding him into it. What film was in the game Oxi? And I will probably start it sometime soon when I get a basic plotline going. Although I'll give a sneak preview of what the Prologue is: Detectives inspecting 2 of the main levels Cash must go through, one includes the Mansion, the other, the junkyard. PM some ideas because my brain is dead I'd say start from the bottom, give us some chapters detailing why he is a killer, what drives him to kill? Was it his childhood? Maybe you could throw in some chapters explaining about past murders, or maybe give us more insight of the character himself, who he is and such. "I might have laughed if I'd have remembered how." Oxidizer Posted December 18, 2009 Share Posted December 18, 2009 Right, I've altered Black Dragons' plot drastically and it's now only a two-parter as opposed to the five-chaptered mini series it was intended to be, but it'll be loaded with quality stuff. It only tells the story of three Black Dragons now, rather than the overall gang as originally planned, and their involvement in a bloodthirsty feud with a Bangladeshi gang. I'll probably post all the gory details of how things were originally gonna happen at some point (one scene I'll be sad to see go consisted of a schoolgirl being thrown to her death by a few members off a multi-storey car park as part of a revenge attack, which was part of an exit storyline for the majority of the gang, but ah well ), but I prefer this version. I've read it, and I was going to wait until later to give feedback, but I think you could do so much better. Also, the inactivity may be made worse seeing as it's Christmas, and a very stressful time of the year. Things usually pick up in the new year. Osric Posted December 19, 2009 Share Posted December 19, 2009 I'm still working on Army Men, but have not posted anything new for two reasons. One, lack of feedback, only Ziggy has responded. Two, an overflow of ideas, I don't know which direction to take the story. Once things are sorted out, the story will resume. Also, I had some ideas written down for a prehistoric story, I'd write it after I made significant progress with my Army Men work, and as a fair warning, there would be both violence and some sex. Ziggy455 Posted December 20, 2009 Share Posted December 20, 2009 I'm thinking of creating a new game, primarily like 'Build Up Your Army' only for the fact I'm limiting spaces and switching the name and gameplay. It's all in notes right now. Basic Features: The 'Build Up your Army' story will be used. Same factions shall be used with only two writers to a faction, you snooze you lose. Different point systems and layouts with same weapons, locations and vehicles. Gameplay would differ and a point system would be revamped, as to keep writers in the game.
