Osric
Sorry in taking so long, I was in the hospital for a severe case of pneumonia last week. After about two days, I got better. Also, I had Thanksgiving yesterday. To all my American friends, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!(I know the Brits don't have it, at least not in November). I'm late in replying, but maybe Eminence is right, a whole zombie epic would be a little too big to tackle at first. And there is a continuation of a work of mine and El Zilcho's that I want to do, but probably shouldn't(I won't mention its name, but you guys know what it is). Now, if those games were in fashion, maybe instead of a sequel, we could do a reboot. It would focus more on clandestine missions, you know, Special Ops and Black Ops, espionage, revolution, etc. Instead of a Third World War, it would focus on secret missions and instead of entire nations, it would focus on Special Forces units or occassionally revolutionary groups and intelligence/counterterrorism agencies. There would be theaters of war to help guide and organize the participants. But as it has been stated, we don't need another one for a long while. Unless you want to give it a try again. To show you, I can write one-shots representing stories from several factions.
Eminence
Sorry to hear about your illness man. Glad to hear you recovered swiftly though. Still, let's just get to the bare bones of it. Don't restart BUYA. Haha.
Osric
Okay, I just thought a reboot(with El Zilcho in tow of course, since he was co-creator), could work if I had fixed the problems and complaints of the first BUYA. Other than that, I don't know what to write about.
Vercetti21
Hope you guys had a great thanksgiving, I know I did. I've been writing tons of poetry lately, which is still fairly new to me. I may decide to chunk them together in one topic, or just release one at a time. Anyways, you'll be seeing something from me again soon.
Lethal Nizzle
Okay, I just thought a reboot(with El Zilcho in tow of course, since he was co-creator), could work if I had fixed the problems and complaints of the first BUYA. Other than that, I don't know what to write about. After the countless *reboots* I'm not sure how many people would come back to play your new BUYA. No offence. johnny_zoo
Aww man, Ive been planning a writers topic for the past week now, where we could have a competition on who has the best story of a certain genre, like horror, mystery and so on. But by chance I happen to wander in here and see a topic for budding writers! Good thing I didnt make that thread now. Glad to see there are people here who like to write and I cant wait to post some of my stories.

Oxidizer
You've seriously finished AM up to the last chapter? If so, congratulations brah. If only! Though I'm glad I didn't as I've recently had a bit of a brainstorm and decided to turn it into a feature lengthed six-part series with a handful of new characters thrown into the mix. I'm just working out the scenes now and then, fingers crossed, I'll actually get around to writing it (thankfully I genuinely like my new writing style now so that, touch wood, shouldn't be a problem ). Ziggy455
With me I'm focusing on my Friday story, I have a few chapters finished in production. I'm also working on something a Lil' original called CarcerlMadness. Although when I start that I think most would bash it for it's 'Fanfic personality.' How's everyone elses work anyway? Is AM actually up to the last chapter? "I might have laughed if I'd have remembered how."
Oxidizer
I'm intrigued by CarcerlMadness. What's it about? Is AM actually up to the last chapter? Sadly not. Sorry if I gave that impression. Regarding AM, I'm trying to figure out what one of the characters do rather than just be a plot device. They're the most interesting one but because s/he doesn't have any other characters to interact with, it's a bit hard to think of things for them to do that isn't just filler. But aside from that, I've been working on the plot for Black Dragons again as of tonight and I decided I'm gonna strip it down and make it as raw as possible. It was always gonna be told by the gang's POV, but it was just too tame considering this is meant to be one of London's most vicious crews (plus it was verging on being unrealistic - one of them was living in a f*cking penthouse for god's sake ). No, they need to be tooled up with rebars and caustic soda.

Due to the events of James Earl Cash in Manhunt more events are sparking up in Carcer City, I'll be revisiting old characters, places and protaganists. Basically a sequel to the original manhunt "I might have laughed if I'd have remembered how."
Osric
So, I had some ideas, but had to eliminate nearly all of them since they were all either sequels or reboots to BUYA, and if anyone so much as mentions it, everyone goes all militant against it. I think its because of the failure of Build Up Your Family, which I will take full responsibility for, although I did play a major role in Build Up Your Army, which was a moderate success. Besides, it's not like I can make it by myself, I know nothing of coding tables or anything. I just don't get the hate on a sequel or a total reboot to it. I can't really bring myself to do stand-alone narratives, they feel pointless. It's not a BUYG rehash like Build Up Your Family, it makes sense to do unlike Build Up Your Survivor(No offense, Ziggy), and it is a return of a well-recieved game. I had some ideas for a Yakuza story set in IV's Liberty City as well. Anybody interested?
housejack12
sure if it's any good, i'll even give cookies, please help me! i'll help you make that buya, or whatever your talking about, we'll just have to use a shared account.
Osric
housejack, for your information, BUYA is short for Build Up Your Army and there already is an account for it. It was made in the summer and was like BUYG, but with armies instead of gangs. I'm not sure if you would be in, because I've never seen your writing skills, but if you're good, you could join. But two things need to happen, the anti-BUY sentiment must die down, and WD must garner more activity.

Osric
In terms of narratives and other stand-alone projects, I am working on something I call "Army Men", based off of the Army Men games and Toy Story. It may sound ridiculous, but it could work. Think of it as an Action-Comedy story. It's a fanfic with multiple crossovers, featuring not just Army Men, but also elements of Digimon as well. In fact, the prologue is up. Hopefully, y'all will check it out. Does anybody know what happened to Eminence?
