What do you mean? It's kinda obvious to make a real face, isn't it? Unless he wants it to be an alien...

Sorry if I didn't understand you well.

Sorry if I didn't understand you well.

you need high photoshop skills to create a realistic texture from scratch

the ideea was to pick up a real face from internet and 'modify it'

see bellow

Good job, Rob. I love dogs.

P.S. Rob, why all your characters look surprised? That seems to be a problem.

Yeah, the eyes are popping out a bit, try modeling some eye lids instead of just having a 'hole' you shove the eyeballs in, looks good otherwise.

The texture is made completely from scratch. There's no tuto's for that i believe, only for painting.

First thing you got to know, if you keep modeling/texturing people you MUST know body parts correctly , I mean the size of all body parts, places where all muscles are places, face parts, etc.

For example Da Vinci's drawings (example or example2) . He was experimenting with people, drawing them all day long just to understand the body. well these days you don't have to do that, but you can watch at people blueprints in internet and stuff.

Just saying that you must practise a lot to do sh*t pro.

Okay, so some criticism, Imo texture is a bit, bit too LQ, it would be cool with a low poly model, but it doesn't look to good, and also i think eyes are a bit too red, I understand you are going for realism, but they are really too red.
