If someone wants to buy "Infamous" they need to buy an PS3. If someone wants to buy "The Lost and Damned" and/or "The Ballad of Gay Tony" they need to buy a 360. So what's the story? What's the point you're trying to make? You completely missed my point to what I quoted. Read the context, had nothing to do with TLAD being xbox exclusive. It was regarding the 2-1 sales that you mentioned. The 'whole store' you fail (and others with this same stat) to mention is that this was actually significantly good considering the much lower install base for the ps3 even a year ago. I'll be able to get DLC that's exclusive while retaining my PS3 for it's games, etc. I point out tips for any RRoD repairs you may undergo in the Tech section. I think the whole August rumor was bogus from the get go, it's far too optimistic. I figured the DLC might not come out in a year's span, that DLC for Xbox #2 would be the fall at best. I don't think it is 100% that TLAD is even coming to PS3, all you can say is that it is possible, that they both come. More likely with BOGT because it doesn't have such a huge contract. I hope. GTA 4 on PS3 or Xbox360 is the same as I can tell, my experience is as close as it gets, playing both of them. The only thing I notice that differs is that the food venders are not in the Xbox version as they are in the PS3 one, and that the ladder to the top of the building below Broker bridge (on the Hove Beach side) is totally gone in the Xbox version, there's normally some health on top that you can climb to, and a great place to shoot at gangs from and police as well. The point is the DLC wouldn't be hampered technically other then the PS3 being harder to program on. That's the logical reasoning there were problems from the outset and the Xbox version became the demo for the pre-release exhibitions! Think logically about it!!! NOT emotionally. It could also say that it's coming out on the ps3 on the 11th of june but they aren't allowed any marketing until it's released. The point is that all anyone knows is that microsoft have paid a huge amount of cash for 2 exclusive packages. Microsoft have gone on record to say it will always be exclusive, Sony have also gone on record saying nothing is ever exclusive for ever. Which is what you'd expect tehm both to say and what I'd say in both of their positions. Unless anyone outside of R* and Microsoft have seen the contract then it's all speculation. Makes me glad I own both. Although I didn't buy a 360 just so I can have access to GTA IV's DLC, I bought it for other exclusives too. Not just exclusives, but it also increases my chances of getting a cross platform game that I want. I.e if a game that I want isn't on PS3 I can get it on 360, and vice versa. They've now said that it will be offered as exclusive content on a disk too. I'm sure R* would be able to convert to PS3, but unfortunately exclusive still means exclusive. They paid for the content and it's up to them how they want to distribute it. From February to whenever TBoGT comes out everyone who wants the TLaD has to get it via Xbox Live but Microsoft has obviously decided to make it available to more people so they have lifted the download exclusivity. Ultimately you need to use a little common sense. Again, Microsoft didn't pay this kind of cash to leave the content available to Sony via a disc. That's just dumb. The fact that Sony hasn't released this content also speaks volumes. If there is some retarded download-based loophole then what is Sony waiting for? See, a mere 4 months in this matter is no time at all. It was at least 6 months before San Andreas made it to the 360, it was at least 7 months before PC got GTA IV. Microsoft also claimed exclusivity for the Oblivion and Fallout 3 DLC's, but look at it now. Fallout's DLC is coming to PS3 soon, and the big stuff from Oblivion's DLC made it to PS3 over a year later. So yeah, your "common sense" statement is useless, and I'd suggest you use a bit yourself. Oh, have I upset a mod here? Well, that's freedom for ya. If you're going to be a mod, you can't take personal feelings into consideration here. It's like if you were the president and got upset because Leno said something offensive to you - you just have to accept the fact that some people don't like you.
