I don't understand whats wrong with facebook or Myspace. Its a good way of keeping in contact with your friends and seeing what there up to. From what i've gathered here, it's just some pathetic bullsh*t for idiots who have a constant craving for attention? do people actually just constantly update what they're doing? I hate all those social networking things, esp the likes of fu*king bebo. I saw it turn my sister into a complete mess, she's on it about 8 hours a day instead of oh I don't know...going out and seeing friends? . People post 'tweets' and you follow people you find interesting - that's pretty much all there is to it. I suppose people who don't have anything interesting to say (and are so egocentric as to assume no one else does either) might not see the point. I'm not a fan of social networking sites and personally I find any attempt to recreate my 'real life' on the internet a bit invasive, not to mention sad. Twitter just gives you a page of 'tweets' from people that you've decided are worth 'following' - not necessarily your real friends, not random people you lost contact with years ago, but people you want to hear from.
