I would still be be unhappy.Been using a mouse since Quake 1. I probbaly own3d your dad then and would ow3n you now. No recoil is so 1995. My dad,oh,he didn't even have a computer my friend.He probably doesn't even know what Quake means. I think you just don't know what to do with yourself.Only you seem to be desperate to change things.But why here?This is only a fan forum,and i don't see too much fans joining your 'movement' to filter out all the mouse "hackers".You may be right,but what does that bring you?Whining here won't change anything.Contact tech support,or make a topic like this one on one of the official forums.For a grown man,you sure are barking up the wrong tree. Nobody called anybody a cheater, other than the game cheating controller players. If it's not cheating you'll have no problem with anybody releasing a No Recoil controller mod then. Yeah erm C06alt seems to think so but then judging by C06alt's posts so far he doesn't seem to think much to PC gamers yet comes into their section of the board and trolls. other than the game cheating controller players. If it's not cheating you'll have no problem with anybody releasing a No Recoil controller mod then. Altering the game IS cheating, playing the game as Rockstar released it ISN'T. Rockstar released the game like this and mouse users are playing the game as it was intended by Rockstar, so how the hell does that make them "mouse hackers". I suppose we should artificially cripple the mouse aim as well then since that gives mouse users an advantage, hey I know lets just remove mouse and keyboard support completely and force people to use a joypad. He's right.While i tested this i also tried to shoot and overall do everything with the controller.When i started to shoot,that horrible,horrible auto-aim kicked in.Lord be generous to the person(s) who use that function.I hated it.Not just that,the whole thing felt really clunky.Somehow even Niko responded differently to the analog sticks...i don't know.I used my X360 controller for DMC4,GOW,PURE,Dead Space,Prince of Persia,Ocarina of Time,Alone in The Dark,and a few games but i could easily adapt to the controls.GTAIV felt really different.I have no trouble during pool or bowling though. Oi, little fibster Well it isn't hard to know about xliveless since everyone seems to create a new topic here (in the wrong section) every five minutes about it . But yeah I did use xliveless briefly but went straight back to using GTA 4 unmodified when the GFWL issue was sorted out. I remember you hating Gta 4? what happened? hypocrit.... No I hated GTA 4 on the CONSOLE because the console had horrendous retarded controls, a Vaseline filter where you couldn't see past Niko's nose without it all being a blurred mess and the ridiculously low resolution we were expected to play the game in. Thankfully in the PC version they made the horrible blur filter optional and the control system was vastly improved and the only limit to my resolution is the monitor. I suppose that's why I felt I should speak up in the first place. Toronto's additions are like the happy ending in bladerunner Slapped on at the end for financial reasons and doesn't really fit. First, under no sane definition could someone playing the game completely unaltered be considered a hacker, nor could it be considered cheating to just put the game in and play. It's not like there's something a player could do to enable recoil, if there's any fault here it's Rockstar's not the player's, so any comments about it being cheating/hacking just come off like crazy ranting. That said, it seems like a bug. They wouldn't have put recoil in, or made messages explaining it to you if they didn't want it there. If it's not there for some people then it's probably just another of many things they missed. It seems obvious that there should either be recoil for all users, or recoil for no users.
