Any of you guys know your time, my time isnt current because the last few years have been weed, cig and booze influenced so obviously im not in much of a shape to run quick.

 

Back when i was 14 i could run it in 12.0 secconds, what about you?

Back in my hey-day (shool days), I represented my County, and the best time I recorded in an event was 11.14 seconds. I've come extremely close to breaking the 11 second barrier in training (11.05 was the best I could manage), but unfortunately didn't break through. I'm sure if I carried on I would have easily attained it, but I opted for a different sport over my athletic ability.

 

Works wonders on the football field, though!

Haha yeah, thanks to my team being able to put a good ball over the top for me i set the record for goals scored in a season in my old league, 63 goals in 28 games.

 

I played centerforward btw and i was injured for the first quarter of the season.

 

How tall are you flicko?

11.80-11.95 pretty consistantly last year. And yes, it does help for football, chris biggrin.gif Perfect for a sprint down the left wing, followed by a lob/cross into the box, if any of my slow-ass strikers could get there in time. dozingoff.gif

 

Now, i have given up football for mountainbiking and haven't been able to break 12 seconds since sad.gif

Its amazing how that happens! Im easily fitter than i was last year, but i guess it is just different muscles that i have been training.

Some people say they move quick, but I've always been under the impression that I do long strides, obviously not! I weigh quite a bit more than you, and that's probably due to my legs (primarily my quads). The majority of my work done in the gym is focused towards my lower half, which is something I should really be changing because my arms are puny in comparison.

Cheeta are you sure that was right because if so you should be competing in the olympics or some sh*t. I only ever did the hurdles once and i was filling in for a no show, came seccond for tha age above me, everyone was shocked i think i did 13.7 in a 100m Hurdle.

Only eleven stone? I weigh a few pounds more than that, even with me being seven inches smaller than you. Not an ounce is fat, mind.

 

!!GC!! might have ran the 100M hurdles event, not so sure. He definitely didn't record the time he stated in the 110M hurdles. If he did, that would mean he'd be finished by the time the likes of Dayron Robles & Liu Xiang were gearing up for their last hurdle!

Then, i knew that i hadn't gotten within a second of that time so i typed 13 seconds, the next second up from 12 without even thinking about it. Meant to be 17.

 

I did do 110m, though.

Yeah, last time i got checked im at 2% Bodyfat, my aim is too get it to 15%. But im trying to get 15% muscle not fat, cause im pretty ripped anyways.

If you were being serious, and you had actually recorded that time then you'd be bordering on the inhuman, the Worlds fastest female hurdlers struggle to run 10 metres less in a quicker time!

I ran a 12.7 back when I was about 13 or 14 too. Then along came metal and beer. I'd probably do about an 18 now ha!

When I was around 12, if I recall correctly my time was roughly 14 seconds.

 

Now, I'd probably make it in 20+ sec. Thx Mary Jane!

I think that my best time was 12.96 seconds, when I was 15. I too find that it is good for other sports, but because I am sh*t at football, I play Rugby instead, I play Center or full-back. I score lots due to the fact that I am also bigger than most of the people of my age in the backs. I am about 12 stone or so.

 

@.chris: Only 11 stone? I would have had you down as a distance runner, as they generally appear to be lighter than the sprinters, who are generally compact to help with starting. With the exception of Usain Bolt of course...

Yeah i had a bloody growth spurt last year, it was like jack and the beanstalk V2 lol.gif

 

Since then i havent been able to put much weight on despite me having a healthy diet with the occasional plate of grease thrown in, i guess my metabolism works overtime i just hope it doesnt wear itself out and i end up looking like roy chubby brown haha.

 

I weighed myself yesterday actually and ive gone up to 11 and a half which is good because i just got other a bastard stomach bug where projectile vomiting was a normality for two weeks. Since starting work on construction sites ive build up a bit more upper body muscle aswell as my legs because i have been lifting all sorts, on the plus side i lifted a washing machine above my head and powerbombed it into a skip so i still have my strength icon14.gif

I run around the low to mid 12 seconds. If i really put in the effort id be under 12 but i kinda lose intrest around the 75m mark and start to slow down.
