Hell No.. Posted April 30, 2009 Share Posted April 30, 2009 Yeah you know, Hobbies. I was going to put "Summer Hobbies", but it's easier to cover all. Anyways, infact, with Summer approaching, I was wondering what kinds of different and new Hobbies I could find. Now usually, I myself, or with others would go for a drive somewhere, to the Park, Beach, for long Walks, play Football/Sports...and I like to do alot of Photography and making Videos too. But I've been thinking, I want something new to do this year, be it on my own, or with my GF/Friends... Heck, I don't know, maybe I could go and get a sweet Remote Control Car and go and rip it up...I've always wanted a good one and I'm actually looking right now... geomy Posted April 30, 2009 Share Posted April 30, 2009 Disc golf. It's dirt cheap, gets you outside and enjoying nature and junk, and is actually a lot of fun. It's easy to learn, incredibly f*cking difficult to get good at...mostly though, it's pretty addicting. Get some friends, a couple of $5 discs and go to the park. Oh yeah, I love table tennis aswell. This sommer I was thinking about driving to spain or something(never drove beyond my countrys borderline) so let's see if dare to, and have the enough money too. Just wait and see. Lacrosse COULD mean wanking off; if you're mentally challenged enough to think of it that way. It's still a sport. Unlike some other comments, i'll try and make mine the most on topic I can. Annnd i'm not a 9 year old bashing other places. Jealous... What I usually do is sports, not Lacrosse, but biking/unicycling, ultimate frisbee team, basketball team and skateboarding. We're all different, so you might want and try stuff. For me, unicycling took me 2 weeks to officially ride one. Take your time in learning a sport and don't give up so easily. But then again, it depends if you wanna do sports. You can't like each sport, you gotta find your own. Or you could find some other hobby other from sport. Or you could actually put your photography/video skills together and make a sick Bmxing video . Put your passions together, find out new stuff. I live in the countryside neighbouring the city centre so I get the best of both worlds depending on what I want to capture. I'm not a sport fan at all and I by no means enjoy any of it (except maybe a liberal game of table tennis, hoo-hah) so I'm not one for games of football in the park or anything, that's just not me. I also like to take my bike out and ride down to a place which overlooks the River Severn, and has a pretty nice rock sculpture to climb up/down. Road trips are especially fun, I particularly liked my drive down from Minneapolis to Key West. I west east to the east coast first, and then went south along the Atlantic. The overseas highway in the Florida Keys was pretty cool. Then I went west through the panhandle and across the gulf coast into Texas and then went straight north back home. Great trip. Oh and southern girls like northern guys for some reason. They're strangely fascinated. Not that I was smooth enough to take advantage of that, but it was a nice observation none the less.
