Payne Posted January 21, 2021 Share Posted January 21, 2021 Did Salvatore have some extreme impact in the family that no other guy wasn’t intelligent enough to keep things like him? If not, Toni could take care of things easily. I remember him having guys around and managing gang wars before the Don was killed. He was already doing a lot. BlueEyes86 Posted June 20 Share Posted June 20 Not sure why they didn't fall into shambles. The line of succession doesn't seem to be clear. Joey, Toni, and Luigi don't seem to have any bad blood towards Claude however killing the Don may have tarnished their favorability towards Claude. If we the player are meant to have Claude stand on the roof top and snipe Salvatore, then the Mafia guys would have no reason to think Claude killed the Don as if the killer was on a rooftop they shouldn't have been able to see the killer. Think later when Donald Love orders Claude to kill Kenji, Asuka has no reason to suspect Claude was the killer neither do the other Yakuza and leave Claude alone amd even help him if he's attack by hostile gangs. Maybe Luigi and Toni probably have more respect for Claude for getting rid of Salvatore who seems to be very paranoid. Perhaps Joey as well.
