Most of the enterable buildings are those boring empire protected stores..still fun to smash them up though

Don't forget the empire buildings, the mall, the stadium, the mendez mansion, the VCN building, Stonewall J's, and others that I am sure I will think of in a few minutes.

I rarely actually go to the mall, except when I need some good weapons from there. But when you're in the mall, the framerate just drops jaw-droppingly low. I mean, for example, if you fire an M16 in there, it basically fires bullets at the rate of a handgun...

Something like this was never a problem in VC for the PS2.

The lagging problem for VCS only happens when you have a high wanted levels and cops start running around you. Then the aiming is slowed down too and the gun(s) fire slower. Still, at least we have the mall enterable unlike some other VC interiors which were taken out.

I personally liked how VCS got rid of all the Miami references with the hotels and interiors but they could have replaced them and still made them enterable to make it fun.

In LCS the only buildings you can ENTER are the safehouses and the ship. The sawmill is enterable during the mission and Casa's "delivery" is also a walk in interior open during that same mission. Ammu-Nation's have open doors and a black screen doesn't come in between if you go inside them which doesn't class as an interior for me.

If you have a PSP, you can set the speed to 333mhz, and that resolves most of the framerate issues that the psp may have, especially inside the mall, during police chases. It also increases the number of peds on the streets. I know of no such solution for the PS2 version though, so you are out of luck FnB.

To be honest it doesn't really matter to me because I've managed to get 6 stars in a matter of moments before anyways and a place where I've noticed the lagging is even more to an extent the game just stops and forces you to turn your PSP/PS2 off. This is the fairground, whenever I'm there and start shooting at a couple of cops, everything goes laggy.

I may go to the fairground at start randomly shooting at cops, to see if processor speed affects the framerate in those situations.

333 Mhz doesn`t really help against the lagging in the Mall, atleast not in my game !

That`s why I don`t visit that place often.

Same goes for the area around the Chunder Wheel.

It just isn`t fun to beat people up at a crappy low framerate...

I`ve also find some interesting unused interiors in VCS.

I`ll tell you guys where they are sometime later.

The only problem is that they are probably not enterable without cheating or gliching the game.

I might create a cheat which allows you to enter them tough...

Also, am I the only one who gets massive lagg problems when vehicles (police cars in most cases) crash into a wall and keep driving against it ?

You know, sometimes the stupid cops get stuck at buildings etc. and they just keep driving forward without backing up.

I guess it`s a problem that happens in all GTA games, since I`ve experienced this in Vice City aswell !

I don`t know why, but for me the framerate in VCS was always a bit lower than in LCS.

LCS seems to run much more flawlessly, atleast on the PSP ! mercie_blink.gif

That`s kinda strange since it`s the older one of the two games...

Algonquin Assassin

It's a shame The Malibu Club isn't open in VCS. One of the things I loved doing in VC was going to The Malibu Club, and chilling. It so 1980s. sad.gif

I miss it.

Yeah I love it. It reminds me so much of The Babylon Club in Scarface.

Higher framerates help on my game in some cases, and what interiors are you talking about?

There`s a warehouse at the docks which is (normally not) enterable, aswell as a boatyard inside a house !

Both are located next to each other at Viceport.

I guess there are from a removed beta mission of the game, since they are not used in the game at all !

There are some more, but the ones at the docks are the most interesting ones !

I think I`ll use them for a new custom mission sometime...

EDIT:

I`ve moved this to the Cheatdevelopment thread !

Sorry for posting cheat related things in this thread.

I only did this because nerner wanted to know about that stuff !

I think this thread`s original question is long answered anyways...

Oh, I don`t think it`s that bad...

In fact I`ve only moved it into the proper thread because of Flesh-n-Bone !

He really doesn`t like that, and I don`t want him to be angry on me because of such silly stuff ! smile.gif

Lol you guys read my mind. No need to panic, but like correctly thought keep your cheat device talks to threads dedicated to them so we (original players, lol) can have our discussion in peace without being told how to hack.

I used to be a regular player like you Flesher, but then I jumped on the bandwagon about 2 years after everyone else did. So I know where you are coming from mate. And I respect your point of view.

Ok, nice to hear that guys !

By the way, has anyone of you ever tried to crash into the gas station ?

Because I want to know if it explodes if you crash into it, but I don`t want to create a new thread for this one simple question.

Sorry for the off topic talk, but this thread doesn`t seem to get any more on topic posts anyways.

I want to know this because I`ve heard they would explode on the PS2 version of the game, but on the PSP they don`t !

If yes than we`ve just discovered another "upgrade" of the PS2 version no one has taken notice of yet...

Yes. Crashing into the gas station petrols causes an explosion but your car wont blow up instantly like in SA but will probably roll over and be set on fire giving you the chance to bail out.

That`s cool !

In the PSP version they just fall to the ground if you bump into them with a vehicle, just like they did in VC and LCS.

Another mystery of the GTA series is finally solved ! lol.gif

If it would get locked I wouldn`t really care, the threads question was answered, and I`ve got my question answered too !

So I`ll just say bye bye to this no longer needed thread...

Flesh-n-Bone

Actually, yesterday I went and crashed into these explosives at the gas station with a car but they just moved like a crate. (just like it has been in any other GTA). It was quite strange but then I fired at it and everything nearby blew up.

Well, they always explode if you shoot at them.

That has been in the PSP version of VCS and in any other previous (3D) GTA game aswell !

But they won`t explode if you crash a vehicle into them...

Flesh-n-Bone

Well, they once exploded while I slightly hit them with a Phoenix. It was quite surprising. But only in San Andreas and IV do they explode ALL the time if you crash into them.
