Just find out from each company which has the best working hours:payment ratio lol, that's all you want at your age if it's a part time thing. The place I work part time pays me a stupid amount of money for the work I do, like £500 for 18 hours a week. I know people who come out with half that for more hours! The losers! They HAVE to tell you what you're going to make, and can't not hire you or fire you just because you applied for another job. Over here, near Cheese head Wisconsin, we have Rocky Roccoco pizza, the best damn pizza ever made!! bar none. My sister worked there and got sick of it, but not me!! Statutory Ray Posted April 24, 2009 Share Posted April 24, 2009 If Winn Dixie is a grocery store, I'd go for that. You'd likely be stocking, bagging, and helping people take groceries to their car. A lot more interaction amongst your customers and co-workers, a higher pay, and more room for improvement. I'm sure they'd require me to wear a hair net, though one place i worked at did breakfast cereal on an assembly line, I never wore any hair net there! Rebel Posted April 26, 2009 Share Posted April 26, 2009 I know a friend of mine worked in Pizza Hut for a couple years as a 'cook' basically making the pizzas and then shoving them in the oven. He pretty much hated the really late hours until finish and the boss he had was horrible. Winn Dixie has been on a slope for the last 10yrs or so.
