I'd like to see some kind of converter for save games between the PC and iOS versions of GTA 3, VC and SA.

Unfortunately I dont really have a clue how to edit the save files myself, so a small tool for that would be awesome. Thanks for your time in advance.

That would be more or less unlikely as the scripts for the PC version are different compared to the mobile port.

The same files appear to be similar, but they're different based on the fact that they're made for a certain MAIN.SCM version, and since the aforementioned script is different on the iOS version converting saves from PC to mobile isn't that trivial.

I'd like to ask for alternatives fo this two tools: Silent's ASI Loader and Sacky's SA Limit Adjuster.

Looks like they don't want to work in pair for me, or maybe it's just one of them, I don't really know.

Texture names are stored inside model (.dff) file.

I would like a tool that allows us to open model file and rename used textures.

 

I know RwAnalyze can do that, but it takes too long.

I'm just gonna try my luck and hope someone is interested in doing this:

 

I made a batch script (not the best but it works #NothingSpecialGramps) that goes through a IDE file, copies the ID number for whatever model that has been defined and changes the ID (if it is different in the IPL) for that model in the IPL file. Here is the script if anyone is interested in trying it out. (make sure whatever IDE file is renamed to test1.ide & the IPL changed to test2.ipl, or you can change the names in the actual script)

While the above does make it quicker and easier to copy model IDs from IDE to IPL, the problem is I can only do it one at a time, and a lot of the time the model is in more than one IPL. If anyone is interested, could someone make a tool/batch/anything! etc. that can go through all of the IDEs model IDs & copy/paste that ID to the corresponding model in whatever IPLs it has been defined in?

Thought I explained it fine, wanted a tool to transfer IDs from IDEs to IPLs. Anyway I've updated my batch script (rubbish but it works) so its fine now.

I would like to have a 3ds Max-Script that is able to import/export San Andreas carrec-files, with the possibilly to link cars in max to it and let them follow the path.

At the moment there are many diferent limitadjusters for hacking diferent limits, some of them are even opensorce. So if we want to hack all limits that can be hacked now, more then hal a dozen of tools are needed. Can someone make some kind of universal limitadjuster, that can adjust all the limits at once. So here a list of limits the tool should be able to hack:

1. Map bounds and number of objects, that can be placed on the map, also outside standard bounds.

2. Ped limit.

3. Vehicle limit that contain the number of models, handling lines, carcols and veiclesounds.

4. Weapon limit (something like the weaponlimitadjuster)

Like I said, some of the limitadjusters are opensorce, so their sources could be used for this tool.
