I'll preface this by saying, I only own OWB (and GRA) but I find it extremely fun and very funny. It's a nice contrast to the main game's somewhat stark outlook. I don't own Dead Money, Honest Hearts or Lonesome Road though.

As far as the story goes, I think you play those two in whatever order you want. But I always leave Lonesome Road for last, and Honest Hearts for first. OWB is better in my opinion though, but Dead Money also tells a more catching story. That is my point of view though.

As it happens is already done HH. Made some gecko leather armour then headed up there

LR of course, I'm saving till just before the battle of HD.

But DM and OWB, I'm not sure about. I'm thinking OWB first, simply because of how difficult I'm expecting DM to be in hardcore mode....

BTW, can anyone advise me:

I've noticed that traders have suddenly become hostile to me. The one by camp McCurren opened fire (case and ede made light work of them), and now I can not use the gun dealer at the 188 because she is hostile.

All was fine. I delivered a mildly suspicious package to Don at Crimson, then tried to make the delivery to motor runner (who id dealt with before and now wouldn't open dialogue with me, so k stealth killed him). Abu Daba honeymoon failed (fair enough) and since then, the traders are hostile.

And one random soldier in camp McCurren, too. Had to hightail it out of there before cass shot sh*t up.

My rep:

NCR: idolised

Khans: liked

You can complete them whenever you want Mokrie, but it all depends when do you want to meet particular person affiliated with BoS. Theoretically DM was the first one, and rest of the story of that particular man was told from the end, but it doesn't really matter if you will do it in other way. Also some enemies in OWB becomes bullet sponges if you cross particular level, which is not the problem with DM.

I'd say go OWB first then, but you cannot carry anything into DM as far as equipment goes. A high level could help though, but your best tool will be your skills.

Yeah I've played DM previously, but just trying to play them in story order.

Goddammit; Sloan is hostile to me too

I do not understand why!

Since Sloan and 188 are more or less controlled by NCR, you must stir some sh*t up with them. Either that or you encountered some nasty bug.

Crossed that level mid run my first time playing OWB. Felt bad.

I'm already a pretty high level... sh*t.

Since Sloan and 188 are more or less controlled by NCR, you must stir some sh*t up with them. Either that or you encountered some nasty bug.

I suspect the latter. I'm Idolized by the NCR. Because Anders managed to free himself from vault 3. I have no idea how. Hsu was glad and my rep increased. I'm accepted or liked or neutral in Sloan. I cleared the quarry and fixed their mole rat up. no reason for them to hate me at all.

This bug might render the game unplayable. Might have to go back and reload a save from 3 days ago which is annoying.

I suspect it's related to Abu Dabba Honeymoon, as as was fine before that....

I REALLY hope 4 doesn't have this sh*t.

There are three mods at nexusmods site That I used for New Vegas to fix my Reputation with factions

here they are

More Perks by dree74 & Kyung-Bum Lee has a perk called Face of Deception, description of perk - You have invented a mask to disguise your true nature. Upon equipping, you can disguise your karma to that of your choice.

I use the cheat terminal to fix my reputation with factions that become hostile too me the most

Fallout NV Cheat Terminal ALL DLC Added by Borjoyzee

this one I used to use before I found cheat terminal

Reputation Fixer by Luke Gevaerts

you might need New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE) for one of the above mods I listed

You definitely should. They are all pretty good. I ginally got around to playing Lonesome Road. That was intense.

Ever since I startes running FCO, some NPC eyes are all messed up

I have that issue too, as do many other people. Strangely mine has sort of gone away of its own volition. Or at least I haven't noticed it for a while in game.

New Vegas Bounties is good, but the second part is so badly balanced it just becomes a farce. Even the lowliest of bounties are utter bullet sponges.

Okay, so the hostile problem seems to be related to Abu Dabba Honeymoon. I loaded an older save, just before going to see Motor Runner. NCR still friendly. No problem.

I can't deliver the package, thus rendering A.D.H unable to be completed. Anders had managed to free himself, so maybe it's that "bounty killer" quest to free him, I don't know.

I'll leave Vault 3 well alone for now. Might head there soon and clear it out, however, see what happens.

Just murder everyone in it. That's the most entertaining thing to do.

Not great if you want to make friendly with the Kahns though.

I'm not too bothered. I've done whatever quests I'm going to with them. They're [spolier]packing up and leaving town

Started OWB. Kept crashing because HCmode was on.

And I've realised I've gone into it at level 34. Gulp.

It's.... weird so far. I got a feeling something nasty's waiting for me...

I think going in at 34 is a good choice. The monsters in the game get stronger the bigger level you are, and I think that happens every 10 levels(?).

Those f*cking roboscorpians... The guns the think tank gave me are useless. The Robos take 4-5 hits from the Gause Rifle....

I think the Proton Axe works real well against those, even with low corresponding skills. Just make sure you clear out before they explode in your face.

I'll try that, thanks.

The pulse gun thing they give you claims to be effective against robots etc but it literally does no damage... Will definitely try the Axe.

Yeah I don't remember the Sonic Emitter being particularly effective. Then again, there's a mod for it. According to wiki:

The holodisk for the modification, Audio Sample - Mobius' Robo-scorpion, is found in the Forbidden Zone dome adjacent to the door leading to Doctor Mobius on a table.

Then again, by the time you get there, you won't have much problems with the robo-scorpions. Not going to spoil anything, but you're going to love the final boss of the DLC (sarcasm).

I think it can, but I had the mod called More Perks in my game that added it's own robot perk that may allowed me to sneak up on robo scorpions and disable them!.
