Lonesome Road isn't as difficult as some people saying. I got my Brush Gun (or Medicine Stick) and I managed to complete it without problems. They are also special weapons that will help you with your journey (Red Glare and Flare Gun for example).

 

And what's the problem with repairing Plasma Caster? It will cost you some cash, but it's worth it.

Solved with a GRA modified anti-materiel rifle (or, in my case, ROAM-510 from AG Supplementary Uniques, which is basically what the Bozar should have been all along) and loads of Radaway.

Got to talking with a guy whose screenshots were, quite frankly, stunning, and he set me up with CLO, Imaginator, and FXAA Post-Processing from Skyrim. All three are compatible with everything and I didn't receive any impact upon performance at all. Imaginator is the big one - it's basically an in-game configuration tool.

 

Very highly recommend giving them all a try.

 

(by the way, that was taken without Enhanced Shaders; it might look even better with them on.)

I've got Imaginator already. What settings are you using on FXAA? It makes a huge difference but I can't quite get the balance right.

I'm just using the default configuration that came with FXAA right now.

Anyone know of a good Smith & Wesson Model 500 mod for the game? Hell, a mod based on any revolver chambered for the same cartridge would do, but so far I haven't been able to find any.

 

Edit: Just started a new playthrough with a psychotic looking Unarmed dude. Named him after the earliest known king of the D'mt Kingdom.

 

Went with 0 Intelligence, Agility and Charisma. Got 10 Strength, 9 Endurance, 9 Luck. Can't remember perception.

 

Gonna get the implants and max out my endurance and luck later on.

There's one in the 19th and 20th century weapons pack for Fallout 3 I think. It might even have some mods that go with it.

I could probably port it over for you if you wanted? Might be a few days as I'm away from home at the moment.

Can anyone tell me how the f*ck you're supposed to get to the vault in 'heist of the centuries'?

I enter the room with force fields near the start, open the computer controlled door, and get through the next area ok. Then I'm in the room with the computer to turn off the alarms, but I can not get any further! I enter, turn right and up the steps to a safe zone, turn and shoot out the speaker above the computer. Then I have to run up stairs and across the catwalk but I die everytime! How the f*ck do u do this sh*t?

What is the reason of your death? Speaker or holograms?

 

 

A third, shielded speaker is high on the wall just a bit further along the catwalk. If you holster your gun you'll have barely enough time to run down the left side of the upper walkway and reaching the terminal to override the alarms. Continue through the corridor.

 

Maybe this is the problem. I completed Dead Money two times and I never had big problems with this part.

It's a speaker yeah. Half the times I don't reach the terminal to disable the alarms and the times I do the collar goes bang immediately after - I see no way I can not get killed.

And I don't have any turbo to help either

I saw a YouTube vid and I did everything that user did, - he went upstairs and got to the console, the he backtracked and the beeping stopped. Even after using the console my beeping carries on (though usually its already fast)

 

Am I missing something (there's two shootable speakers in here and I can shoot 1 - th other ones over a hallway entrance to the right of the terminal.

Note: On the right broken section of the top walkway you can actually jump onto the beam and then onto the section with the exit. If your timing is good then this is an easier way to get through than to follow the left path.

 

I found also something like this. Maybe it will help you.

I tried that, the times I didn't fall I still ran out of time... Can I shoot that second speaker from the same safe zone I shoot the first?

I wish I could help you more Mokrie, but unfortunately I completed NV some time ago and in this playthru I'm still quite far from Sierra Madre.

I got it the speaker to the right was causing me problems and after turning off the alarms the collar still kept beeping - a bug I think as I loaded it up today and the collar stopped

 

Now, to sell the gold

I don't know if I understood your question correctly, so if I didn't please forgive me.
