STORY,

In 1999, Zachery "Big-Z" Topps was a highly respected member of the Kings Street Posse, one of three largeest gangs in South Los Santos, that is until he was arrested while he was on a trip in Liberty City to deal drugs, after his arrest, he is sentenced to 10 in years in the Alderney State Correctional Facility.

Fast Forward, 10 years later.

It's 2009, Big-Z is released and travels back to Los Santos. When he arrives at his old home in Ganton, South Los Santos, Big-Z is reunited with the his two childhood friends and fellow gang members, Big Boss and Troy. Big-Z learns that the King Street Posse (or KSP as most of the characters call it) is at war with the two other major gangs in South Los Santos, the El Santos and the Bridge Street Gang. After completing the first 30 missions, Big Boss sends Big-Z to Marina Valley where he is meet Little Jacob and Niko Bellic, leaders of the newly formed Marina Valley Hillside Posse, a mostly Jamaican gang who has recently allied itself with the KSP. Big-Z assist the Marine Valley Hill Side Posse in their war against the Marina Valley Triads. After assisting the Marina Valley Hillside Posse, Big-Z recives a phone call from Tom Smith, the most famous celeberty in Vinewood, Tom apperently has heard about Big-Z's skills with guns and wants Big-Z to be his bodyguard. When Big-Z arrive in Vinewood to meet Tom, Big-Z learns that Tom is getting harassed by the Paparizzi, which is why Tom has hired him in the first place. Most of Tom's missions involve killing or severly injuring members of the Paparizzi. After working around 10 missions for Tom, Big-Z has been well known in Vinewood and have been given a phone call from the famous rapper, 60 Cents. He invites Big-Z to his crib because he needs Big-Z's help. When you arrive he tells you hes got major problems with some organized crime in Central Los Santos, and will pay Big-Z big money to stop his troubles. Agreeing, Big-Z heads over to CLS to find out whats the matter. When you arrive Big-Z gets another call from the Russian mob leader, Bulgarin to meet him at his track betting. Upon meeting him, Big-Z is assainged numerous tasks, and while it happens, Big-Z realises he has been trying to collct a hit on 60 Cents. There comes to be a point in the story where Big-Z has to choose between killing Bulgarin or 60 Cents.

DEAL: Big-Z kills 60 Cents, later Big Boss calls Big-Z and says El Santos and Bridge Street gangs are declaring war. Big-Z head sover there right away and do around 29 missions for KSP with the help of the Marina Valley Hillside Posse. After about 20 missions later Big-Z recives a phone call from Phill Bell, who wants to Big-Z to help him get back a bag with $22,000,000 that the Marina Valley Triads stole from him. Later Bulgarin shows up at Big-Z's mansion at a certain point. He tries to take him out and kill Big-Z, but Big-Z succeeds to kill him first.

BETRAYAL: Big-Z kills Bulgarin, later Big Boss calls Big-Z and says El Santos and Bridge Street gangs are declaring war. Big-Z head sover there right away and do around 29 missions for KSP with the help of the Marina Valley Hillside Posse. After about 20 missions later, the Russian Mafia begins to hunt down Big-Z for killing Bulgarian. Big-Z heads to 60 Cents mansion with Phill and his gang for a place to temperately hide. Not so long later the Russian Mafia has swarmed the building. A very intense gunfight goes on, and in the proccess Big Boss dies. After cleaning out all the mafia members, Big-Z is now the LEADER of KSP. The Russian Mafia takes 60 Cents and hold him hostage. When Big-Z arrives to save him, he finds 60 Cents dead.

I think it was good, but I thought the DEAL/REVENGE has been way overdone, and I don't understand why Niko Bellic and Little Jacob have anything to do with this, and why they had to appear, not to mention Phil Bell. I thought there was slight laziness on your part for that, but that's my personal preference, please don't take offense. I liked your ideas and the map was also good, I'm interested in what's coming next.

Maybe you should add a little more substance to your map, for example, a key, roads, subway/train routes, airports, point of interest etc.

I like the Idea that you have Just done Los Santos instead of the whole of san andreas, and youve made a good map! or whoever helped you. I would put more 2pac in the radio because he was ledgendary IMO and all about West side. It's your choice of Radio though.

You should improve on the deal and Betray thing IMO. It looks a little rushed so just add more detail and it could look good.

Thanks, but the real credit obviously goes to Seth for the idea itself, all I did really was make up the area names, map, and some of the story.

Omnia sunt Communia

Why would Niko Bellic be in Los Santos? I doubt he would travel to the other side of America to start a criminal empire with Little Jacob when by the end of GTA IV he clearly want out of the crime game. Not to mention the fact that in the time between GTA IV and this game: I doubt they would of been able to set up a gang the size of which you mentioned.

The map you showed us doesn't really represent Los Angeles all that well. For a start Hollywood (Vinewood) isn't that big a part of Los Angeles (Los Santos). Maybe you should try basing your map on the actual location rather than throwing together three or four islands on paint and naming them after locations in San Andreas?

user posted image

That is what Los Angeles looks like. Notice it's distinct shape. Try transferring some of that into your game in order to add a little authenticity to the map.

Another thing is, the gang names; did you just pull them off the top of your head or do they have meanings? Are they based on certain gangs in particular or did you just put what gangs you wanted to see in there, regardless of whether or not they operate in Los Angeles?

I think this project is looking good, but it needs a lot of work before it can be considered brilliant. I really like the idea of a GTA set solely in Los Santos, though it needs to be unique and it needs to be realistic.

jacky, although i get what you mean about the Islands that make up Los santos itself. It would be rather Hard to make it out of Islands when clearly it is not an island at all. It's a whole peice. I think this is one of the reasons i think R* did San andreas as a whole state. Because New york is made out of islands as is miami. LA or SF or LV are infact not. So Take it easy on whatsitmcalled.

That's a weak excuse. Miami is connected to the mainland, but Rockstar still managed to make it into a set of islands for Vice City. Same with New York City, Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Las Vegas and every other city they've produced. If the city is supposed to be based off Los Angeles it should at least look like it.

Well, for starters, Little Jacob pressured Niko into coming to Los Santos, and Niko really doesn't do anything even though he is second in command. Also the Marina Valley Hillside Posse is very small but managed to get an alliance with the KSP because they can supply the KSP with weapons.

Also I'll try to talk to Dragonex about the size of Vinewood (which I will change the name into Greater Vinewood). Also the islands are divided into districts based on actual disctricts/neighberhoods in LA and I'm still working on names for them.

As for the gangs, the King Street Posse (KSP) are based on the Bloodz, the Bridge Street Gang are based on the Crips and the El Santos are based on the 38th Street Gang. The Marina Valley Hillside Posse are just made up, also the Marina Valley Triads are based on the 204th Street gang.

When I make the map I'll shrink Vinewood and rename it to Greater Vinewood. But I think seth should try to do what he wants with the map, because I'm not exactly sure how to renovate it the way he would want it to be.

Pretty good stuff. Dragonex has changed from the guy who posted something that went like

"Teabagging (blah blah blah) running around (blah blah) WTF" in the sAN (caps) Andreas Chain Story. Blah represents stuff I can't recall.

But seriously, good work. But are there any real life prominet Jamaican gangs in Los Angeles?

So whats going to be up with the map?

Change Vinewood by making it smaller and having it's name changed to Greater Vinewood. Also it needs more detail.

But are there any real life prominet Jamaican gangs in Los Angeles?

Not sure but that's why I made them up aswell as pretty much most of the minor gangs.
