+ability to change/cancel mission:

-press ContactKey to restart mission (only before the action starts)

-press NextMissionKey to cancel the mission (sometimes takes a few seconds)

 

so now you can refuse a mission before starting it...

tell me what u think about the new Assassination missions...

- Assassination is surprised! Target man run away when Player comes. Players has to fight againt bad guys and try to follow the target. If you don't catch him early, he will get on car and bye bye...! he he I like these!

- Hostage Rescue is better now, but sometime hostage stuck behind the door. He/she can't get out.

 

Finally, very...Impressive! I love your mod! Thank you for hard working.

OK I've been playing with the new assasination mission for a while. I think that it's very2 good, but why are the police still after me even when the police involvement option already set to 0 ?

 

And maybe you can add more people guarding the target so it wouldn't be so easy to kill the target devil.gif

It seems nice, but I got a problem. I ve downloaded the latest Contactmissions.asi and the submissions ini. Put them in GTA folder.Then when I play a white dot appears on the map and when I get close it writes package mission or steal car mission but there is nothing more than I can do.How do I start the missions? I pressed M or N and J and nothing happens  sarcasm.gif . Thank you.

You're not alone, I have the EXACT same problem

 

Edit: this mod does not work together with First Person mod.

EDIT: Got this exact problem....

Some of the missions seem a bit hard. (like Assassins, Protect) How are you guys betting them with out cheating? I say take away the grenades throwers and cut down abit how many gun men show up at once. They seem to spawn all around me.

 

Also, doesnt seem to work with GTAIV .Net Script Hook v0.893 BETA http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=392325

Had to update to that in order to work another mod and notice VIP Kill/Rescue mod doesnt work.

yup some vigilante missions added cool.gif

 

and a few exception missions such as in the vehicle theft chain of events... check it out devil.gif

 

*added Patrol mode while driving a any police vehicle.

*added some crime missions.

*added CrimeVariance to set in the ini for the chance of crime being commited while on patrol mode.

*fixed enemies spawning too close.

 

set CrimeVariance=5 for almost instant crime to pop

set CrimeVariance=150 for rare crime waves and so on

Very nice! The vinglante missions was a nice surprice. I ve noticed that in the previous versions the contact character was defending you against other people who attacked to you. In the last 2 versions he just stands there doing nothing if someone attacks to you. I liked the old feature. Please consider to put it back.

Also if someone can't run the mod with the latest scripthook he could try older versions of scripthook. For me it runs with older versions too (I ve got the 1.0.2.0 patch of the game) as well as with the newest one.

policeInvolvement only concerns the player, 0 means clear wanted level on certain missions.

 

@gorgonut - nice notice inlove.gif ill put the feature next release wink.gif

and i dont know if it works on older versions, try and tell me.

also fixed the skip/restart missions to not be so close to the previous and added some more good spawn points...

Super! And you brought back the feature of player protected by the contact when attacked! Thanks! colgate.gif

And one new request; When you are driving a police car the patrol mode is constantly written at the bottom of the screen. Would it be posible not to be visible all the time? Or even better to be a specific key to activate this mod. That way you could play the story or just cruise with a police car without activating this mod.

 

Also I run your mod with Scripthook 0.93 as well as with 0.86 (probably and with other versions too).

 

And a compartibility issue (I ll report it to the LCPD first responce page too); In my games when you have your Prison break mod and the LCPD First responce mod, I ve noticed that the backup is coming but the cops don't get out of their cars even when the criminals are shooting at them. The same thing happens with the passing by police cars. They don't bother to stop even when the criminals are shooting directly at them. When I removed the Prison break mod the cops responded again normaly.

Have anyone else noticed the same?
