And it would be cooler if we dont have the cops trying to get in our way too. I mean i know that they're also attacking the bad guys but most of the time they're attacking us, and by then we would've killed more cops than the enemies. Of course it'll be easy if we use godmode cheat, but i prefer to not use it.

 

Anyway have you considered my suggestion? I really think it'll be alot better if we get a timer first and then wave after wave of the enemies coming after us, man that would be awesome. That way we wouldn't have to worry about the cops, and focus on the enemies alone. And then maybe you can give 2 wanted stars after the enemies are defeated, to add more realism maybe? tounge.gif

I like the cop battles as it makes it harder. I was doing a contact elimination and was battling cops and enemies with my contact with two guards. we were all killed , but it was awesome. More Enemies!!!!!!!!

In the INI could you make it have how many guards/Enemies to spawn and the health of your Enemies during Elimination and protection ?

the mod is awesome. well done.

i enjoy random action as well and this one delivers and it also have the nice execution with peds that talk to u to give u these mission. good job, mate.

 

a few things

 

1 - for some reason the weapons enemies use are not as lethal as the ones i edited. i changed the weaponinfo.xml to modify the damage weapons do yet when i get shot by peds spawned by your mod they barely damage me. mayeb it's the original damage of the game.

 

why is that?

 

2 - i took the mission to protect the contact and it was fun and all but the mission never ended. i killed over 30 guys and drove the contact around a bit and eventually the enemies stopped coming yet the mission want over. i quited the game to end it :\

 

3 - i also think that some more INI options would help ppl have the fun that THEY like.

if we could select the number of AIs that spawn within each mission than that would be cool. if u put unlimited respawns of AIs than u probably can let us select how long it takes between each respawn of a AI.

also u can amp the accuracy of enemies the mod spawn (i think that withink the game's values 400 is the most accurate. 500 is less. weird.) as well as their health so u can spawn maybe less enemies but each will be tougher. i prefer quality over quantity. (just need to be careful not to make it impossible, if we dont get the options in the INI)

 

i love the abilities that compmstr gave in the his super spawner script and there i am used to spawning enemies with top accuracy and 250 health so they rival niko with their effectiveness. it's nice.

*INI option for cops involvement

*Package delivery missions are longer (and abit harder)

*added MaxPackageCpoints=4 meaning you can deliver the package on the first point if u are lucky, but no more than 4

*also added cash counter for killing enemies while delivery missions/taking back the hostage to safety so the more you kill the more cash u get! monocle.gif

*separate INI

Just tested 0.43 and it is good. I will try out the new one LOL and get back to you.

 

1. Could you do something with how money is given and taken away. I like the risk and reward thing and upping the cost or allowing it to be chosen in the INI would be awesome.

 

2. Could you make a assassination job where you have 3 - 5 targets to take out all doing different things in the city ? Maybe have a time limit thing for that. I just want to blow a car up with a bomb and use the sniper rifle.

 

Quick note thanks for more enemies in elimination. I tried it with cops off and it was a bit too easy especially when I am using a guard ( not invincible) so I am turning cops back on. Can't wait to see what you have in store.

 

Update : Just tested 0.45. I have to say that rescue the hostage is my favorite by far. The only problem I have is that the hostage battle conflicts with the your bodyguard mod. when you rescue the hostage and go to the destination when the blip disappears so does the bodyguards and they remain unresponsive.

Ok, I've tried playing this mod several time.

 

The terrorist hunt mission is still a blast, i think I've been playing with it too much lol. Of course I've died lots of time, since some of them like to use rpg and aim it at me. But thats just the way i like it, it's exciting when i hear an rpg fire sound an then trying to find where are the shot came from and try to evade it, i just love it XD

 

Then i played the "deliver the package" mission, i didn't get too much excitement with it though, all i do is just driving from place to places and deliver the package at the last destination. Maybe i should try doing the mission on foot rather than driving in a car tounge.gif

 

But.......i still have some weird problem, when I'm playing with the elimination and hostage rescue mission, one of the bad guys is trapped inside a building or a wall. Of course i can't see or shoot him, but he CAN shoot at me. And this thing happened twice confused.gif

 

I don't know if you can do something about it, but i hope you can. Oh and thank you soo much for the .ini, the "PoliceInvolvement" option is just what i need, the mod is a lot more fun and exciting now biggrin.gif

I tried 2 or 3 times hostage mission of ver 0.45, hostage is inside the house and I can't find the way to go inside. Please tell me how

P/S: Please don't let contact respawn too early. So they appear very near Niko every time. It's seems unreal

-From the beginning, excuse me for my bad english!

 

-good corrections in my opinion!

 

-in elimination mission - someone should killed and this is guarded by the mercenaries!- when I almost killed everyone this guy,impotant guy,run whit few guards whit his car to escape!-if nico does not catch him then he fails!

 

-in deliver package - Nico goes into a place where lift package (from another person, if you want) and start mission!-not take the package from the person who gives missions.-when mission start nico is followed by terrorists with cars and and must get rid of them!-when it reaches the point where nico have to deliver the package is expected of someone who receives the package (and go with car)! -if the bad guys kill person(protected by two or tree guards) who should get the package then nico failed the mission.

 

-in hunt terrorists - person who gives missions to Nico, show on map, area with problems and and gives nico limited time for arriving at that place and only afterwards begin mission!-there nico and police officers fight together with bad guys(terrorists)

 

-in VIP protect - after talking with person who gives missions to Nico , go to a place marked on the map.-there meet two guys.

-one of them goes with nico and this is the protected person,and the other person is one which connects nico with the person protected (is more nice that way).-After nico kill almost all terrorists,on screen will appear a message which will tell Nico where to leave the protected person and that place will be marked on map!-in that place meet someone which will remain with protected person!-maybe you can do that the two person to come and go with a car!

 

in VIP rescue mission, I think it would be nice that kidnapped person to to be in a hidden place(not in the street ) with two or tree terorists who take care of it in particular, besides others terrorists of that mission.

ive made another mission of Vehicle theft, cleaned the code and fixed some bugs... (that no1 else seemed to find)

Thanks for the vehicle theft missions. Played it twice and both times car got away. I haven't tried it yet again as my game sound didn't match up once again , so once I restart my computer I will continue to play and give feedback.

 

Offtopic - Hippie could you make a code adding on to your robbery mod allowing to rob atm machines for $100 - 1000 or rob restaurants ? and could you update the bodyguard mod to allow them to use Episodic Weapon ?

I don't get it, it doesn't work for me.

 

I walk up to the guy giving me the mission but then I can't figure out what button to press. I've tried pretty much every button on the keyboard, incluiding N and M wich it states in the config.

 

I've got a whole load of mods so it might be something interfering.

 

Also, the frequency of mission givers is way to big.

i want to put an upgrade to this... Hippie, here's what im suggesting biggrin.gif

-when in car the VIP vehicle or Van/Stockade should spawn somewhere far from the player

-it shouldn't convert any passing Van/Stockade into the VIP Vehicle

-when there are nothing to replace the VIP Vehilce, the phone gets too noisy and keeps ringing.

-the same with the pedestrian, it's nice to be converted to a Vip and their reactions is pretty fascinating and funny biggrin.gif

-they should spawn/converted somewhere a little far away from the player.

-suggesting some 2 to 3 or more body guards that are not noticeable biggrin.gif

-give them a nice clothing, like the ones one perseus, since even the beggar gets to become a rocket wielding VIP, which is not really VIP like.

-also, give it a 25% chance that they are in a classy vehicle, like cogsoneti? washington, presidente and anything that looks like a mini limousine biggrin.gif

-there should also be a rescue VIP on foot, or make it that a bunch of guys chasing the vip trying to kill him/her, then you have to take here somewhere she'll be safe (randomly)

-last but not least, removing all of the events that you see on the map, it's like you can go Kill a vip but at the same time you can forget the VIP and go on a mission instead tounge.gif you should also disable the button during a mission? (i haven't tried that) rahkstar2.gifrahkstar2.gif

1. I love to see V.I.P sitting around in LC (Restaurant, Park...) with his/her bodyguards (not walking on the street like peds). there are some minutes for Niko to take down V.I.P, if not V.I.P starts to escape. (V.I.P's health is very strong biggrin.gif )

2. ContactMission: Could you make the Mission like: Contact gives Niko mission to follow target1 (don't let him/her detect). Target1 can go by car or bike to see Target2. Niko have to take down Target2 or both of them (there are some guards around)

also the Contact mission was VERY VERY OUTSTANDING !!! Shifty41s_beerhatsmilie2.gif

but as usual there are some things that are not nice biggrin.gif

 

here they are:

-peds that are giving the missions should be somewhere in places where they can't be seen, also they have to be standing, not walking around since the mission title won't activate unless he/she faces you

-peds must also be somehow classy or moderate person, not beggars

-mission contacts should also remove other events like the VIP once that i said biggrin.gif

-there should be an arrangement of missions according to the peds that are giving the mission:

example:

--for classy/rich missions: elimination must have more than 20 - 30 threats to be eliminated, protection must have a far away location and must be protected against by 15 ~ 25 threats per 2 minutes, Delivery Package must be 8 ~ 12 checkpoints biggrin.gif (i havent seen the 2 submissions yet)

--for non-classy/moderate missions: elimination must have 8 ~ 15 threats, protection must be not too far away from location must be protected against 8 ~ 18 threats for 3 minutes or atleast threats can be limited, Delivery must be 1 ~ 8 checkpoints biggrin.gif

-also i wanted to add a drop off for the protection thingy, it's like it's neverending sad.gif but it's awesome!!!!

-for elimination, Add a boss that would try to escape when his/her bodyguards are less than 10, also make him agressive when he sees the player biggrin.gif

-add HP by 400 or 600 for both Protecting person and Bosses (if it's necessary to add a boss to elimination)

-decrease peds that will try to kill you while you deliver the package, and add a person/specific place/object to drop/give the package to, since it's hard to guess if you need to get to the next checkpoint

-enemies at elimination should not be VERY aggressive and SHOULDN'T Follow the player (it's SOOOOOO annoying since you don't have a place to hide to)

 

i haven't seen the 2 submissions, but this is way better than the VIP thing biggrin.gif but if you think or add what i suggested, then it would be very cool! biggrin.gif it's also very very awesome that you are able to make this mod!! thanks for making GTA IV a non stop gaming software biggrin.gif

 

i also liked tuistac's idea of having increased VIP HP to lengthen the mission biggrin.gif

yeah i can increase the distance, but most of the time you need to have a car ready before starting the mission coz some of the target vehicles are... fast monocle.gif

 

@HitZoor - they are separate mods, i no longer work on the vip missions, just the contact missions.
