Just got one crash with a "vehicle enforcement"

perhaps try the brand new...

you guessed it:

 

DOWNLOAD 1.0+105 patched

 

+ rebalanced - less grenades, patrol missions upgraded, Enforcement: wanted rebalanced.

- targets now call for help - see if they can get some backup

- sound the horn to order your guards to enter the car (they love to shoot)

- more random crap! devil.gif

- some bugs were fixed

- anybody noticed the 'Bribe' feature? (the Enforcement idea is basically based on overpaid cheats)

Although with the previous 3 versions I experience game crashes (only the firt one which introduced friends missions seemed to work), with the last two (1.0 and 1.01) the things went ok. (I ve tried hostage rescue mission with enforcer car sell). Probably it is fixed. I ll keep playing and report back, colgate.gif

I haven't tried the newest version yet but with 0.999 if you killed your 'friend' who can offer those Enforcement things you instantly get 6 stars, and at the bottom of the screen a number starting at 10,000 starts slowly increasing. What is that about?

 

Also I mentioned this before, I don't know if you forgot, or if it's not possible, or if you don't like the idea, but would it be possible to separate the UseGrenades setting into UseGrenades and UseMolotovs? I like the grenades but not so much the molotovs, so I'd like to be able to disable the molotovs while keeping the grenades.

i don't wanna separate those, next release ill make it more leaning to grenades than molotovs.

 

that blinking number is the price you'll get if you loose the 6 wanted star cool.gif

its one of my first released missions (back in LUA days)

 

the number is decreased when wanted stars are grey and increases when not.

the price is limitless wink.gif

better to get some friends to help ya...

One thing that I noticed; If you point a gun at a contact he becomes hostile and sometimes some reinforcements (2 guys in a vehicle) arrive. In the previous versions if police was nearby it was attacking at those guys but in the last version police didn't do anything to them (although the cops shooted at a new contact who came to defend me). If that is the case (and not a temporary bug) would you please change that in a next version? It is fun to point a gun at a contact when police is nearby, reinforcements to arrive and then watch the shoot out between those guys and the cops. Thanks mate! biggrin.gif

No crashes yet(im been playing on version 0.99) and lots and lots of fun. Its kinda hard. so its welcome with a little less grenades and stuff. That is what always gets me killed. One time it was a terrorist with a rpg. It was so f*cking exciting. I heard the rockets and avoided lots of them but just couldnt find the shooter. When I tried to find him in the sniperscope I didnt duck in time and boom. Its was so f*cking cool!!!! Keep up the good work! Very appreciated that you keep developing and correcting bugs along the way. Gonna download newest one now. The updates sounds great!

i wish i had time to test these now sad.gif too much work.

 

is there a chance u will incorporate a way (one more INI line) to make LESS enemies per mission? so one can set the difficulty higher and have tough enemies but still have a chance of winning? cuz right now the enemies are of really great numbers but are designed to be easy (only take cover if it's 2 feet away from them, have low health [of about 100] and dont shoot accurately) but i think i might be more fun (maybe just different fun) if the AIs will be tougher per person but less in numbers to keep it possible for those who prefer quality of enemies instead of quantity.

But. it would be nice that the drug missions aren't so close to player? And what are the risks when selling drugs? Can i get police after me if they see me selling, or if i can't, can u do so ?

Just one word matching your mod: Brilliant !

 

 

I noticed a few things:

One bug: when the guy who give u a mission is near a soda seller (or else), it stucks Nico, then u have to load a new savegame to be able to move again.

 

Then a few suggestions:

Can you make these things configurable in the ini file?

-Weapons ennemies will be able to use

-weapons guards will use

-vehicules which will be spawn when buying 'car enforcement'

 

and can you please make a special "enforcement" item for the annhilator full of guards?

The mod I think is stable now and the new officer patrolling feature in drug missions is nice. The shoot outs now among cops, friends, contacts + reinforcements are awesome! The M for the place bomb key doesn't work for me though. I prefered it in I (or could it be added in the ini file as customizable?)

 

I ve already count 22 updates of this mod...and Ive missed a couple! icon14.gif

The contactmissionkey and nextmissionkey are configurable in the ini file.

 

Im looking for a link to a virtualkeycode list but i cant find for you.

I know ive one at home, i can send it to you this evening.

I have a problem with nextmissionkey, when i press it, it takes always years that it changes mission. And thats annoying if i want to do only one kind of missions.

there are a few more issues with the mod, its not behaving like i hoped... yet. sly.gif

it needs some further testing...

 

@Qtwo - it takes forever coz he talks on the phone (need to find out details n'sh*t ^^) if you want, the next release will have a default first offered mission in the ini orly.gif

or better yet, a quick start mission hotkey

The reason that there are not many posts yet is that we are all testing the new versions every time! We keep playing, no time for writing! Hehe rolleyes.gif

By the way I like that the contact first talks with his cell phone to arrange details and stuff. It makes it more realistic.

Now some remarks for the last version. Although in the first day I had no problem. Yesterday after some testing, everytime that I caused a shoot out among cops, contacts, friends the game froze and crashed. I ve tested the previous version 1.03 and didn't have that problem. So I think that the previous version was more stable. I ll recheck the button with wich you put a bomb (but I suggest as I said in a previous post to be in the ini menu).

hippie , is that YOUR mod that makes the cops come at me once i fire a few shots even when there's no cops around me?

 

i cant seem to engage in fire fights without the cops on my derriere everytime.

 

 

also, please explain how does the escape-the-cops work in your mod. if i hide form the cops with 1 star than it takes like 10 seconds and they forget about me. if it's 2 stars than it's a lil more than 10 seconds, right? how much more?

also when i got 3 stars i hid for more than 30 seconds and the cops where still looking for me. how come?

 

ps.. - what does THIS line in the ini mean? PoliceInvolvement=0

that line means: should the cops shoot you or not while on a mission biggrin.gif

 

the escape the cops system has a bar that fills up while player has grey wanted stars, (bar drops back to zero once wanted stars are not gray) there's no EXACT time for each wanted level to drop... its all +/-

besides it acts differently while doing missions, just try and learn whatsthat.gif

Hi, HippieCommunist! I've downloaded the latest, 1.2 version of your mod, but it appears to have a problem - there is no mission contact, only enforcement one.
