*MURDOC*
Pretty much. I usually just leave, and then let them notice four hours later when they try to talk to me and realize I'm not there. It's not really the game itself I hate, but it's ability to turn people into morons and ruin lives. I mean, a lot of these people I would have never suspected to let a game rule their lives like it does, It's hard to get my head around.
baptiste
Bioshock - Too many things I hated about it to name without writing a review. Counter Strike - Seriously, how is this sh*t entertaining? GTA IV - The one that finally put my GTA addiction to rest. Most RPGs - Step away from the keyboard and go outside you sad motherf*ckers. While you put no valid argument forward what-so-ever I'd like too point out the difference between an MMO RPG and a normal RPG and the difference between WoW and other MMO's. Pat
I just want to go ahead and say one thing, even though what I'm hoping to prevent has already happened (and will most likely continue to happen): Do not slate a game if you have not played it. I'm looking at you people who are slating games like Call of Duty, or Halo, because "everyone rants and raves about them," and then you go on to say "I've never played them, and I doubt I ever will." (I'm not defending Halo, by the way; I've played it, I hated it). I might as well say I hate Apple computers because I haven't used one since 1998 (and I was six at the time); it just does not make any sense at all. Keep slating games, that's the purpose of this topic; but please, do not slate a game without having played it first.

The Jason
GTA IV - The one that finally put my GTA addiction to rest. I have to second GTAIV. It was by far the most disappointing gaming experiences I've had in a long awhile. A great story cannot make up for a game that plays like ass. GTA 1, London, 2, 3, VC, SA, etc, all cartoony, unrealistic, but fun as hell. GTA IV, Going from realism to unrealism, trying to get the best of both worlds, but failing and ending up boring. oldage
I see you guys like it rough. I think I'll accept the fact to ask why people diss some games.. tho, here are some rules... 1- KEEP IT MATURE. (no sh*t like "lol nuub yur gaem sucks" 2- If you diss a game, don't just say "I just hate this game." or people can start an argument with you. if you put down a decent reason then people should agree. Actually, I figured that was exactly what he was referring to. IMO, the driving is far better (as in more entertaining/fun) than the previous GTA games, it's not dead-on realism, but its not floaty, retard-physics like the previous games. But again, the important word here is 'opinion'.
GTArv
Halo, Crysis and the likes. Never liked most of the futuristic games. (My hate for Crysis is partially due to the PC system requirements, it was barely playable on my PC. )
logob
God of War. I don't understand why people love it so much. I got bored of it after about 15 minutes. I hate the Halo, Zelda, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid games as well. Oh yeah, I love the Guitar Hero games, but all of my friends hate them. Except from this one guy, but he sucks ass, he's been on medium for like the past 3 years. I loved the first Gears of War game, but the second one was a major disappointment. unopescio
gta4, rockstar packed tons of completely useless features into it, but neglected to add fun ones. Sure driving around is fun, but theres very little else in it to keep it entertaining. It ended up a clunky and slow (gameplay wise) disappointment. The opposite of what I expected from a GTA title. Sure driving around is fun, but theres very little else in it to keep it entertaining. It ended up a clunky and slow (gameplay wise) disappointment. The opposite of what I expected from a GTA title. I agree. GTA4 got rid of the fun stuff we would want in a GTA game and added boring stuff like dating friends and all that. San Andreas at least didn't have the whole dating thing as a requirement, not even for 100% so these who complain can take it somewhere else. I don't care if they made the game "realistic" but that's what takes the fun out. Who the hell prefers chasing another car while shooting forward at it and driving over freeways just as you crash into a car and Niko falls out of the windshield and we are forced to just sit down and watch his health go down to the way the previous games worked? Omnia sunt Communia
I don't want to go off-topic here, but I think San Andreas could be considered more "realistic" than Grand Theft Auto IV. The whole "eat or die" thing is more realistic than some of the features people complain about in IV. Graphics and physics are the only things Rockstar made more "realistic" in GTA IV. You've got to remember that IV was a new game on a new console. Rockstar were limited as to what they could and couldn't do within the time they had to release the game. They might of wanted to include airplanes, or whatever other features, but just couldn't get it to work properly on the new engine. I think the new features implemented in IV are fun, and I hardly miss the ones taken from us. I was never that fussed on dancing or bodybuilding anyway. IV focused on what GTA should be about; crime. Just remember, Grand Theft Auto is a sandbox game, a truly creative person will be able to sit in the box and find all sorts of fun things to do with the sand - while a less imaginative person will just sit there; bored.
