Medium is a cakewalk now. Never been so hooked on such a casual/mainstream game. I feel ashamed but yet again so proud for liking it so much. Great music! Shamefully the first GH's have alot of covered songs and not the original versions . Why should you feel ashamed? Unlike most games aimed at that market Guitar Hero/Rock Band are actually good games, especially for as you mentioned playing with friends. After Morrowind Bethesda had all the potential to make the greatest RPG ever and then we get this piece of f*cking sh*t? They managed to take everything that made Morrowind great and threw them into the f*cking trash, and then turned Oblivion into a stereotypical RPG fantasy setting. There was no point in leveling up because all of the f*cking enemies scaled down with you, and everything looked exactly the same. Yeah I was wrong on the timelines, I was a bit thrown off because of the gap between FF10 and FF12 (11 Doesn't really count as a main FF game as it's an MMO) I can see what you mean about parts of it being milked because of the mass amounts of games based in the FF7 Universe however I feel it's a bit unfair to label all games as one entity when each one offers its own unique world and story, characters, etc and each one attempts to bring some new features and progress the turn based ideals of the series. If its the same thing over and over for you then I respect that, my main issue with people criticising the game is when they don't actually give a reason or their reason is "it's Japanese" or just "poop." I can't really defend the spin offs though, I dislike FF Tactics as I'm just not a fan of Turn Based Strategy games, I generally lose interest in the matches a short way in. I'm also not a fan of the FF3 remake on the DS due to its difficulty curve nor do I really like FF12 that much due to its general feeling of non progression and it's storyline didn't in anyway engross me wheras FF10 hooked me straight away. I never played FF12 for the same reason. It came at the end of the PS2 life and I already had a 360. Such a long wait from 10, I didn't want to play it in case it disappointed me because I loved 10 so much. FF10; my god what a game. Simply outstanding. Seriously cannot wait for FF13. They deliberately leave out a load of features from the game just so The Sims addicts end up buying all of the expansion packs (by the time you have finished doing that, the next The Sims game will be out). NFS Most Wanted, crappiest game in series, no drift mode for that nice potential of NFSU2, bmw as main hero, sorry, not for me, and 10 cops, but after 5 seconds you're free. WOW, Lineage, Fable, and all other similiar games to them, GTFO OF MY HANDS! Make levels and do the same. FUUUUN1?! COD3 and WAW, both made by Treyarch, this team is a failure, they DON'T know how to make games. Infinity ward = WIN! Saints Row series, that's an crap, just try to control the car in turn or you will get f*cked up! Storyline is f*cking nothing, what's great here? Metal Gear Solid series, i understand storyline, promising, but the game is made in so dumb way, i want view from back, not ''economy the polygons, let's use camera from wall.'' way. Resident evil 1,3 (except 2, i atleast finished it) dumb camera, RE4 and RE5 for me is winners. Oh, and 3 was a bit messy and hard. GTA IV, i finished this game 2 times, second time i was sooo bored, altough it was after 4 or 3 months after 1st time. The Sims, i played every game of these, no of them could stick to it for more than 2 days, i enjoyed watching lesbians in sims 2. But sims 3 had 25 min playing time from me, job and crap was totally hard. Not to be continued, i have a lot more, only by reading all 18 pages i forgot most of them. You're so called playing a song while you're just trying to smash the buttons as fast and good as possible in order to HEAR other great musicians play the song correctly . In other words, you can better learn how to play guitar yourself. Though, you are right and that's what I also think: it's a heckload of fun to play with friends and it's too damn addictive and fun to play songs on higher difficulties and unlock songs (though some of my mates suck too hard to play on medium or hard and try to unlock all songs). Like in World Tour and Legends you had Purple Haze... Crazy Train... but they aren't unlocked at the beginning. So? Normal people or people who strive to have the most fun and unlock the most sh*t want to play the career (and switch from song to song to another person so you can all play) or play career co-op (and do the same: switch after each one or two songs). But then again, if they suck on medium you can't keep on playing and unlocking on medium... you have to change the settings again and unlock other things again. Tuesday two of my best mates bought the game. One bought GH: Metallica... the other GH 2. Not much later other friend buys GH: Legends of Rock. Then yesterday another one buys GH: Metallica too (since he's actually one of the biggest Metallica fans apart from me ... it's damn fun to yell the lyrics while playing it on the plastic guitar. Shamefully it's not that comfortable and pleasant to hear for others who are watching and listening with us xD).) and GH: World Tour. So, how many guitars do we have now in total? Five and no microphone, no drums xD. But we all agreed on pulling out 50 eurodollars and buy the GH: 5 set. I'll have my own Guitar to play with (and the one of GH5 looks awesome) and we'll have another sh*tload of songs!). Damn... it's so much fun. Played Guitar Hero one time, maybe I just sucked, but I was not impressed either. It's making people think they can play guitar, when in reality they really can't. Also, too many spinoffs. If they only made that one Guitar Hero game, and then added new songs via download it would not bother me one bit. But they just keep releasing speedy sequels (and spin offs) with only new songs added! New songs do not warrant a sequel, even if it is a music game... And the Guitar Hero/Rock Band franchise is selling millions. Whatev, I don't want to talk about that game anymore. Saint's Row 2, I know it's supposed to be retarded fun, and I can understand why people enjoy it. But to say it's more impressive than GTA4? Hardly. Crazy retarded fun? Yes. Impressive? No. The one thing Saint's Row has over GTA is that vehicles actually explode into little pieces. But the vehicle physics, damage modeling, and other physics are far inferior. Also, juvenile storyline is juvenile, and Stillwater is boring and washed out. Halo: takes too many bullets to kill someone, magic recharging suit is lame IMHO. The handling of all the cars is f*cking terrible, the graphics look blurred and low res and the gameplay is just a monotonous grind of the same challenges over and over. I had never played Burnout before, so when I booted up Paradise I was expecting much better car physics than what I got. At least the actual crashes looked good.
