Panz
GTA Vice City, Resistance, Prototype is alright, but I really don't like it much (inFamous is much better), Guitar Hero/Rock Band, Metal Gear Solid 4. blitsie
I finally decided to try out WoW and see what all the fuss was about. I bought the game yesterday and its still fracking updating,I started downloading the 3.1gb patch yesterday and it only finished now(it took about 12+ hours to finish),I was so happy until I found out that there still was 20 fracking patches left...I'm only gonna be able to play this friggen game tomorrow night. This damn wait better be worth it,or else I'm gonna post a video of me breaking the disc in half on a WoW fansite...
gtathebest4ever
the halo series, world of warcraft, need for speed most wanted, and vice city. i don't really hate most wanted or vice city, but i just don't think they're the best of either series but a lot of people think so. Rebel
I'm not the biggest fan of Gears of War, just not my kind of game after playing it round a friends. I do remember playing WoW (having a free month trial) and to be honest I hadn't a f*cking clue what I was doing so I went around killing nothing but boars and got bored and never played it again. I'd probably play it again if I actually knew what I was meant to be doing.
NinjaWJ
Call of Duty 4 Its a good game but compared to the past CODs its a piece of crap. I don't know why everyone thinks its the greatest game out there blah blah blah. "Hey what are you playing? IM PLAYING COD4 BLAH BLLAH BLAH" The Perks and the small maps pissed me offf. Call of Duty 1 was so much better Bioshock Good Story but dont kwow what is so amazing about the gameplay
Ronnyboy
-Metal Gear Solid 4: I really just didn't like the game. Yeah the weapons were cool, the gameplay had some new features that I liked, but I just couldn't like it. I sat through all the cut scenes and hour long explanation films online to wrap my head around the story. I get a mission where there is snow and some bionic wolf and I gave up. I just couldn't like it, maybe because I am more into the "Blast and run" technique better -COD WaW: It's hard for a studio to come with a new game after the predecessor was a god send of the FPS market. I guess I realize this now after playing COD WaW through. I just didn't want a WWII game anymore, but I bought it anyway. I couldn't get into whole character depth like I did in COD4. In COD4 I loved the characters and felt like I knew them well. On WaW, I felt like they were just another generic Marine fighting against some generic Japs. I finished it and spent most of my time on Nazi Zombies (the only good part of the game). -GRiD: Grid felt like a cheap racing game from the PS2. It had unrealistic handling and that rewind feature was just an excuse for a racer to not throw the game out the window. It felt like it was trying to do a mix of Gran Turismo and Forza. But in the end, you chose one car, added a sticker and raced a few times. I never liked the driving or the races, they all seemed bland to me. The drifting was ok, but seemed almost too easy, or too hard.

Yeah, I could barely get myself through the story because it lacked any real depth or attachment to the characters, but since this game is based on an event that already occurred, the developers can't change too much to make it any more exciting. I do absolutely love the multiplayer, though, and it beats Modern Warfare by a mile in my book. And yes, MGS4 sucked.
PowerPats
I hate cod 4, singleplayer was too short. And since My connection sucks, I only seem to join half games, before I get disconnected.
D- Ice
@ Bioshock: I actually thought it was an amazing game - especially if you play it intelligently and take your time rather than just killing all the enemies yourself. Except for the first few levels, when I wasn't too sure about hacking, I got most of the Splicers - and even Big Daddies - killed by the security cameras. That, with the Natural Camouflage gene tonic, it was so fun seeing all the many different fight sequence betwwn the AI's. And with the Big Daddies, one security camera - or for that matter a whole army of them (they'll all usually survive one alert completely till it times out) - are not enough to take them out, so it's fun seeing them keep coming and respawning, and the BD just effortlessly destroying one after the other. The game environment and atmosphere it creates is also unmatched but by only a very few games - probably none in this current console generation as well! The whole idea of s destroyed underwater eutopia was also very original and new to me, and I really liked it - especially since I never played System Shock 2 beforehand. @ Over-rated: What I really think is vastly over-rated is the Gears Of War franchise. Never really liked the whole idea, and GoW2 was really linear and so much like a glorified rail-shooter - kinda like CoD - which just allow you to move through the pre-set, and especially purposefully designed levels at your own pace. It is absolutely horrendous and insulting at the last console generation - let alone this current one. And yeah, CoD is also vastly over-rated too if you didn't pick up my jist. Lethal Nizzle
Another game people seem to hate is Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2. Whenever I bring it up in conversation, all I hear is "sh*t game", "crappy graphics" and "solid story mode"; I think it's brilliant.

Remix
In reply to people with issues with Skate's camera... you can change it in the settings. I hated Resident Evil 5. Panz
I couldn't stand Res 5, either. I played the demo and hated it straight away. Left 4 Dead sounded cool to me, but once I saw some gameplay, it pretty much turned me off. The sound effects and character design really bug me for some reason, but it still looks decently fun. I'll stick to WaW zombies.

I didn't have to give a reason lol Why don't we all just make one word posts with random game names then? I think it's implied that you should give it some justification or else this would be a spam thread. On topic though, a series I don't hate as much I just tire of hearing about is Call of Duty. I'm just extremely sick and tired of people talking about it, so much so that it puts me off the game itself.
Wolverine.
Gears of War. I bought it a year ago and played the first mission only. I was so bored with it, I stopped playing it and gave it to my friend for free. True story.

Maybe it's because I was so used to high powered P90's and .50 Caliber Sniper Rifles that I just didn't like it. I mean it was fun to get the MP40 and shoot that, but I just didn't like the multiplayer. The tanks were really useless because everyone I played with had rockets or grenades and would blow me to sh*t. The sniping wasn't as fun, all about the open camping I guess. Maybe if I gave it another try I would like it, but I'm gonna sell it with COD4 to get a lower price on my COD MW2 PE instead.
Snake Without a Tongue
I hate Gears of War. I like that it popularized Killswitch's cover system, but the character models are just bulky flashy loud turds. And the pathetic attempt to provide a story (especially in the sequel) was annoying. It was like Doom with a whiny little guy in it. I think the only reason people ever liked it was because it was among the first wave of the Next-Gen. It's not the worst game ever, but one that I don't like but other people love.

Jordy.
First 2 GTA's What's wrong with GTA 1, and 2? Lack of good story, not a lot of weapons, crappy sound, city felt dead, GTA 2 just didn't meet expectations. Anyway GTA 3 fixed all of that I know what you mean! It's not like GTA 1 & 2 were made in 1997 and 1999 respectively. I mean, what more can we expect from games of those generations? Lots more! That's what! f*cking casuals. Well in all fairness, there were games out at the time which bettered the standards of GTA 1 and 2, such as Driver. Still, GTA 2 was my first GTA and I loved it, despite being on PSone which is inferior to the PC version. But what the hell was wrong with the weapons from GTA 2? There was lots to choose from, including an awesome advanced taser gun that electrocuted everything from cars to people!
