sammclean23
i was driving down one of the streets in algonquin and there was a police car pulled up behind a car...at first the police man was searching the car's trunk then he walked around to the window and said "your going to have to come with us, youve been caught speeding" has anybody seen this before? Now or Never
Ah, realism, thats why this game is cool.
AZAZEL
You often see coppers chasing down pedestrians, too. When they catch them, their partner drives up in the police cruiser, they sit the crook in the back seat and drive off. Moved this to Gameplay. XaR
If you drive on the bridge from Bohan over Charge Island to Algonquin you can see a police car right after the entrance ramp. Sometimes there's even another car pulled over in front of it. There's no interaction between them, though. As much as I love details like this, the problem I have with them is that they only happen at certain locations. At first you're amazed by the details but after a while you realize it's just some boring script. I'd love to see these things happen randomly. Euphoria has already done away with repetitive & scripted death, fall and dodge animations. Now I'd like to see innovations concerning A.I. NikoB
It's amazing how real the game is.
[1337]=Jackhammer=
yeah, less scripted AI behavior will be awesome. Some work has been done with the police AI (reacting to peds' behavior like chasin them or returning npc's fire etc) but there's still a long way to go. Random occurences ftw. Murcchachosa
ROFL, I saw a prick repairing his car, his engine was smoking. And what did I? I bumped that f*cking prick so hard between my car and his car. His legs must broken and his car could be saved saved repaired.

Yeah, and if you jack the police car the criminal thanks you, before getting out.
sammclean23
yeah i noticed earlier that it kept happening at that spot. how coud a.i be made like euphoria so confusing. i think maybe there shuld also be other random events, however meaningful, that occur. E.g being in a bank or shop and suddenly you find yourself held up at gun point. But hw could this be done without using set scripts because i presume this could be achieved (gun point bit) by having a certain chance that when your in that shop it will be robbed, that is possible. e.g 1 in 10 times you go in it will be robbed. Still realistic none the less

xxCrowTechxx
Similar to an above post.... I have (had) a cop car stashed at the second safe house location (San Quentin). A cop, having arrested someone right out front, quietly put the guy in the (my) cop car, got in himself AND DROVE IT AWAY..... "Hey.....that's...uhhhh, my...." Needless to say I don't keep a cop car anymore since they seem to just take it whenever they want. (on a side note, I wouldn't go causing too much trouble near or around your car's save location - any panic could cause the other drivers to push your cars out of their spots so when you come back they're GONE)

Xboxless
Tho' that spot is the only place I have seen that, besides the one on the bridge.
LostSoul 301281
I've noticed this before. And it's always outside that large church near Middle Park. There's also another cop car on the East Borough bridge that has a pedestrians car pulled over. This only happens some times though, but it's always on the Algonquin section of the bridge. Talldog9
I once saw the cop parked behind the ped, but different. There were cones sitting around the cop car to protect him. Anybody else ever see this?

Lisha
I've seen it, it's so cool. I've also seen some guy with his car bonnet up, and the engine smoking. He hasn't got a clue what to do, so he kept kicking the bumper. I jacked the car, and what do you know - the car doesn't start.

FiliGTAFan
I've never seen this happen myself since it is very rare to find a police guy arresting someone for speeding. It's cool that stuff like this happen so unexpectedly.

LukeDuke3
Its also fun when u kick or push someone and then you run away. When you see cops, you stop and cops will arrest the guy who wants to fight you

Lollercoaster
Ya, we definitly need more random AI. But also it has to be intelligent, not completely random...that would make no logical sense to us...
