paul Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 I'm trying to get a FIB Buffalo with 4 stars but all that comes are Enforcers & NOOSE Patriots. I tried with a fast car and also with 5 stars a bunch of times but nothing... Any tips? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Most of the time the N.O.O.S.E show up, rarely do the FIUB show up unless you are in an intense shootout. Then its hard to get one as the car is full of FIB who are armed to the teeth with assault rifles. Although, on my cousins xbox, I tried going on the airpot and they spawned straight away, I got one and parked it up, but when I try on mine its just N.O.O.S.E. SWEETSAPRIK Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 It's true that it can sometimes take forever for an FIB Buffalo to show up no matter what you do. On the other hand, I just started the game, grabbed a Turismo, drove up and down the runway, and a Buffalo drove out from the dirt path at the Northern most part of the airport, right by the helipads. So while it might take some trying, it can happen, and it can happen on your first few tries. When I was still playing the PS3 version this is how I got them, that and parking a fast car outside a [email protected] and clicking on the little lacy surprise pageant website. PяopagaиdaIиc. Why did that happened? You get automatic 1 star for nicking a Turismo, so it lowered your wnated level. If you are desperate for a Buffalo, you could always use cheats. But I know, you want it legit. My tip would be log onto the pedo website in game and you get a automatic 5 star, and they will probably send the Buffalo straigh taway. No, that's not why, it's because if you steal a car when the cops don't see you, they won't know its you, thus lowering your wanted level. I know for a fact that no matter what you do, you always get a 1 star in the Grotti dealership, and if your on a higher wanted level, the dealership always lowers it. This was shown in a 6 star police chase video, where he stayed on the top floor of the dealership, and then decided to make a get away. Nicking a Turismo, his level came down to 2 or 3 stars. IJM Posted June 6, 2009 Share Posted June 6, 2009 I know he's got one now, but let me let you all know how I do this. (My version is the PC version by the way). I found going to the airport next to useless. Sure, you get 4 stars and NOOSE come. But I found it quite rare that the FIB Buffalos turned up. Maybe once in twenty or thirty attempts, I don't know. Really annoying though. The best way I've found is to get one early in the game when the bridges are all closed. I collect a submachine gun, a load of ammo and save. Then I drive up onto the central walkway of the Algonquin Bridge with a Turismo and drive up and down the bridge until the Buffalos arrive. On the walkway, you're quite sheltered, so you can loiter about until the Buffalos arrive without getting shot much. Most times I see them at the east end of the bridge down the steps from the walkway on the road that runs under the bridge. Once though they somehow managed to get on the walkway from the west end of the bridge. I just stay in the Turismo and carefully shoot the Buffalo occupants. Then switch cars and drive like crazy back to the safehouse and save to lose the wanted level. Since I started doing it this way, I've been successful every time so far. Hope this helps. P.S. Then grab one of the Turismos on the second floor, drive it through the window and out on the landing. Then have all your shooting and grenade throwing fun. That's how I got that achievement. There's a 3-story car park somewhat near the bowling ally in Algonquin (off Union Drive West). I went to the second story, where choppers can't hurt you and it's easy to pick off any cops who try to come at you. I had a 5-star level and I saw a Buffalo drive by. Then these two FIB guys came toward me. I blew them away, then made a run for the car. I hopped in and got to one of my houses. Yay, Buffalo! The only way I did it was by visiting little lacy's but 14/15 times they sent enforcer so getting a buffalo is a pain in the ass. Airport never worked for me. Enforcers every time. Is it common?
