I just watched The Proposition yesterday for the first time. It just wasn't fun enough for me. I didn't even rent it, it was on TV. Good acting, I liked Ray Winston's character but that was about it. Clerks are epic.

Why ? Becuase is an hilarious film that was made on a shoe string bugdet. Its my immature comedy taste that choices this one over the propositision

Clerks is the film that showed me you do not need a huge budget to create an enjoyable film and of course, without Clerks I would never of developed a crush on Rosario Dawson.

Proposition was a great film, but nowhere near as relevant as Clerks. Clerks was new and fresh; Proposition was a rehash.

I suppose potty humour will always win over brilliant direction, performances and cinematography.

I did it the other way around, I voted for The Proposition when I had never even seen Clerks.

To be honest you shouldn't vote without seeing both of the films. This is the problem with the polls

Wrong? I'm sorry I didn't know this was Widowmaker's 100 favorite movies, I thought this was GTAforums'. Oh wait, it's not. And now I will vote for Clerks, because I like it more, and I get the added bonus of you getting your panties in a twist.

 

This is a popularity contest. When you ask a group of people, "What movie do you like the most, or what movie is "better"?" then you are going to get a popularity contest. But I agree voting for a movie, without seeing the other movie, is wrong.

It's not written in the Bible that one movie is better then the other. It's personal taste. You can't argue with personal taste dude. And even if it was written in the Bible, Bible is a load of crap and we all know it.

I had to null my vote, as i've only seen bits of Clerks and i'm in the process of watching 'The Proposition'. Things didn't go to plan, i was going to watch them both today before the poll closed at midnight.
