Vice city crashing half way through loading

hi im really no to this...

i know that loads of people have had this issue but i cant find an answer

iv unistalled and re installed about 7 times and each time it didnt work

iv even got a new copy of the game and still no luck, when your crashs during loading i press enter and it says that you can download vc 1.1.exe to fix it, but it really doesnt.

i hav'nt got amy mods even on my pc any more so am at a loss asto what could be the issue

if some could help me that would be fantastic!!

Try deleting the gta_vc.set file from the User Files folder.
