Girish
Moved to Editing Discussion > Troubleshooting I'm not sure if this will work but you can try running the Place Manager in Windows 98 compatibility mode.
Supra4
Considering the exact error message, it sounds like there are registry issues. Place Manager was written for XP, not Vista. I doubt it'll work, even in compatibility mode. Basically, untill someone rewrites all modding tools for use with Vista, I'd recommend to run a dual-boot system. appliart
You must register the OCX manually. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Find the exact location of your .ocx file. 2. Click on the Start menu. 3. Select the Run option. 4. On the edit field of the Run dialog box, type regsvr32 followed by the complete path and file name of the .ocx file. The path and file name should be enclosed in quotation marks. Here is an example: regsvr32 “C:\Windows\System32\abc.ocx” 5. Make sure you have typed the information correctly and press enter. The system will include the .ocx file in the registry. 6. You will see a message box telling you the OCX file has been successfully registered.
