When I play with friends who have 8, 9 or 10 star level, all the n00bs will just try and join the team they're on. Like a 10 means they can fly or sh*t! And wanger. What I despise is the greed, like okay, you guys all get to be on the team with the 9 star guy, do you REALLY THINK the 2 guys on the other team are going to stay the whole game? If they are good, of course they are, but I'm talking about matches with average ranked players. Doubly annoying as I tend to host my own games quite often, but just another thing you live with. Got a decent set of points. I'll join any TDM I am invited to unless I'm not in the mood, or busy giggling like a maniac elsewhere. All out deathmatch situations rule. Every man for himself. I never get into people's car's anymore as they like to drive right for the other team, trying to ram them, resulting in us wreaking, and getting us both killed. While it's a somewhat decent, if not cheesy way to get kills, I honestly can't stand the level 8's and 9's who INSIST upon playing alone, especially when it's clear we are trying to have 2 teams. My solution: you have now become the only person I am trying to kill this game. Even a really decent shooter will get frustrated by being kept from their kills by one solitary person. Is making your player sitting on top of a building while you go and catch up on some sit-coms or get a drink 'guarding' a turf. I see so many ppl just sit there... they don't even try and kill the people trying to get the turf through fear of getting killed themselves. I have the most turfs EVERY game on my team... I can't remember when anyone got more turfs, I got most turfs in DTW... why don't other people play like me then? and actually do something... f*ck knows. I try to stay on a team with average leveled players, and if I switch teams, it's only because I'm left by myself. There's no fun in that, I'll play DM if I want to be by myself. I also have stayed away from AA games. I'd rather get killed by someone with skill. I may not be the greatest at shooting yet, but I'll only get good by getting in there and trying. I'm rank 9 and when i was playing GTA alot, youd switch team to try and make it kind of even and youd always get a couple of asses joining your team.. so you siwtch to try and even it up, so do they.. i end up just keep changing colours. I don't care if i end up solo, i just prefer having some cannon fodder to take some bullets for me As for the 'camping' and 'protecting a turf etc', play the game or switch it off.. the amount of times i'd be in an 'inactive' team in team mafia work yet as soon as you kick them, they'll start spam kicking you.. one of the reasons i ain't put GTA on in a couple of months. And yeah SJ, i always make people that go solo my main target. Always good if your in an alright sized team, they come in and try and get some cheap kills but your already there aiming and they always seem to leave.. why play a game on 'hard mode' but then quit.. oh wait its so they can use that EZ AA pish. Besides the fact that people do this to be a random jackass, sometimes people join the oppisite team, to help out their friends. So he's like a spy posing as one of your teammate.
