It would be great if you could be able to listen to music you have on your ps3 for gta4

 

i no you can on saints row 2 as my friend has it

but i would like to listen my own sort of music on GTA IV

You can do this on PC already with Independence FM, I doubt that there's any plans to bring it to the console editions though.

idk but when i played my friends xbox a while back he said Sr1 and he paused it on the radio and whent through the list,but i will ask my friend when i talk to him tomorrow

You can only play the music that's already played on one of the other stations. You hear a song on a radio station, buy it at Scratch That, then you can go to 'Music Player' or something and select the song.

 

And no, I prefer Rockstar's radio stations. Idk. It's part of the game's vibe for me.

No. Original radio stations are great, and they're always major part of game atmosphere.

I kinda wish we could do that as well. I've been listening to GTA IV's radio stations for a long time and it would be nice listening to something different while driving around.

They should have included Independence FM on the 360 version. San Andreas on the Xbox had the equivalent of Independence FM. I really miss it. It's much cooler to have your music play through the radio and not miss news and commercials. The 360 dashboard music player plays your music over all gameplay so it's a big tradeoff between your music and the game's atmosphere.

If your smart, burn a disc with your favorite music, load it in your harddrive and play it while your playing. Just remember to turn off radio when your in the car

If you're even smarter, you'll just put on some music on your computer/stereo system and listen to it while playing the game

Yeah, I would love to. I have much in the way of classic rock stored on my hard drive and would love to have it play on a radio station in game, as long as appropiate news breaks and commercials were included.

I like the idea of custom music. If R* can come up with a custom DJ than it would be cool.

 

 

 

Ok imagine this:

 

 

Radio DJ says a song is coming up. If the song is a slow pace song then he will say this may bore the hell out of you but if its a loud fast song then he may say that this will excite you.

By custom i think your getting the wrong idea

I mean,The music you like to listen to will be played on a seperate station (Music stored on your ps3 hardrive)

If the soundtrack was as amazingly awesome and perfectly fitting as San Andreas' soundtrack was, I wouldn't care, but it's not, so yeah it would be nice to be able to play my own music on the console.

 

Then again, I only play GTA races on the console and I usually have music off, so I probably wouldn't use it

How about instead of just online,its in single player aswell?cause there are a few great tracks on there but listening to them over and over gets beyond anything!

Ugh, just stream it live via the 360. The game will cut out the radio station music, and will play the music on your console/PC.
