The ped rounded a corner disappeared from view, and the cop (obviously no match for the ped due to his size), just stopped mid-run and forgot about the ped. Then I pushed the cop over, got a star rating, and immediately got 2-3 cops on my tail. Which makes me wonder, why does the cop give up on the ped so easily, and yet come down so hard on Niko? However,.....Mulder, I bumped into a cop when he was chasing another ped, and he fell and so did the felon, and the cop was in the middle of thanking me "we could do with more citizens like you..." and all that crap, and then he turned on me and started chasing me, and I had a 2 star rating. I remeber one time I whas walking around Firefly Island in Russian territory and I shot a ped or something, a few seconds later I heard shotguns firing and uzis and there whas a cop nearby aand he started shooting the Russians. There were about 10 gang members there. And then cop cars appear. Those damn russian kept killing more and more cops they were shooting at me too but I whas in cover, a while after I hear a helicopter and I got like this ---> and . A cop chopper whas there shooting at them! it whas like they had their own wanted level system. The russians didn't last long against the cops after that heli appeared. A few minutes later the war whas over and the russian gang members were all dead. I whas behind a cop car watching that amazing war. I picked up their guns and got out of there. But in IV I can't manage to do that. :\ If I punch the criminal, the cop turn on me. If I shoot him, the cop turn on me. If I ran him over with a car, the cop will turn on me. WTF... are you supposed to make him fall then? Btw it's very funny to watch the police pursuing someone else than Niko xD. I was like - - when I saw a cop car stopping, a cop coming out with a gun pointed to a ped. I was already prepared to kill him, thinking that the cops were there because of me. But they were after the ped lol. He started running, the cops started running and finally he gave up and was arrested. Another cop car arrived, he entered and they went away. I was going to follow them, but since I needed to stole a car, it wasn't a good idea. I wonder if Rockstar has gone that far and the cop car would stop on the police station... I first did it accidentally with Niko bumping into a felon running from the cops. The guy fell over, and to my complete surprise the cop said something like "Thanks, we could do with more citizens like you..", not the exact words, but along those lines. I have repeated the exercise before, but it doesn't happen every time. But as has been said, Niko doesn't get any monetary reward though. Just the kudos I guess!!! Rachinator Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 I was having fun with taxi drivers and i punched their car and they chase me and i stand behind a cop and he hits the cop and a massive chase ended up happening and the 3 of us were running along the freeway me and the cop nearly had the taxi driver when the cop got killed by a truck, I lol'd so hard but then the taxi driver stopped running got a call on his cellphone, i shot it out of his hand, twice in the knees and then one in the face, truly an epic run! I once barged out of my Bohan safehouse, only to accidentally kick a passing officer's feet as he ran by, chasing a crook. He fell face-first into some scaffolding. Didn't like that very much.
