That said, I've never tried this as I like to play the games myself, so I can't vouch for it. Personally I'd trust the files in the topic girishb linked to more than those hosted elsewhere. In the future, you can backup your save data to USB drives. I've only encountered a few games that protect the save data (which is a sh*t practice) like Killzone 2 for example.
