Can I modify the game stats?

Ok, this will take some time to explain so bear with me. Im sort of GTA freak. I mean with every game since GTA2 I've been playing it like mad. And after VC i've been doing something only a true GTA nerd would do. It goes something like this - i play the game, beat it 2 or 3 times then i go for what i like to call "100% zomfglolzwtf". That means that i beat the game and i get somehow perfect 100% - no deaths, no arrests and so on. Then when i finish the game i make a backup copy of my saves and i stored it somewhere for reasons unknown to even me.

 

So, recently, i had some time to do that with GTA4 and what do you know - i've wasted 35 hours cos that BITCH Kate get me 1 bad date. As it looks like you need to be in suit, to have a nice car, to go to a place she likes and to ask her for hotcoffie ( you never get one btw ) and then you will get successful date with her.. man what a bitch..

 

So i guess i have 2 options -

 

1. if the game stats can be modified via the game savefiles - i'll be ok

 

2. if not - im gona break something..

 

So, can I, and if so how to, modify the game stats?
