Wombatfrog
What's up with that bulgarian bull spider? What do you mean? Explain yourself.. Sounded good at the time. Is there such a thing as a Bulgarian Bull Spider? And can they detect sub 30 framerates? I mean they have (if they exist) 8 eyes........

My vision is not that great, but I can clearly see the difference between 30 and 60 FPS. For instance, PES2009. It usually runs at 60FPS capped, but during replays it goes down to 30ish - very noticeable. And that's just a rather poor football sim, the differences in FPS titles (or any title that requires some targeting) are even more noticeable. dafour
I'm fine with over 20FPS. It's relatively smooth and playable. 2nd

Things move a lot. In 3rd person shooters, the camera won't have to follow things flying at 60kmph.
Graven
The "30 fps is enough for human eye" means movies. In fact 25 is enough, Hollywood standard is 24 fps. In game more is always better. 30fps in IV looks better than 30fps in SA. Because IV is slower. Niko is slow, fat cops are slow, and You take corners realistically slooooow. They should make a constant bullet-time option for people whose hardware don´t meet the requirements.
[VcG]Adam
why is this thread here? i play gta 4 at 25-45 fps with a quad core @ 2.6 ghz [oc] and i dont find that a problem, when it gets to 22 its a little slow but at the moment i have system stutters,i think its this new system or just the processor not being fast enough ,i dont know,anyway,25-45 is good enough for me any time in gta 4,racedriver grid is more ideal at 35-90 fps

ObsessedWithGTA4
I don't see any point over 60fps but I lock all my games in on that. Anything below 30 and I can notice the difference. I prefer 35 but 60 all the time in every game would be great! If only GTA IV FPS was more consistent and none of them ridiculous drops WE ALL get.
