Vercetti2008 Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 (edited) Ah...Whatever. Now I'm in a sh*t situation. My beloved save file is f*cked up completely. The one in which Tom has $36.084.500. Collected by me. The problem is in the in-game time. It has stopped. Even if continues to go, stops after some seconds. & the problem that everything stops. That happened on my previous PC. I thought it was because of the PC, but seems like the reason is in the save game. Don't know what to do. I'm so pissed of these VC errors. What kind of save game errors are in PS2 or XBOX/360? flicko Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 (edited) Is the only problem you are occuring the in-game time? That seems to me like only a minor problem, if that. I hardly ever pay attention to the game clock. Or does your game occur other problems of this minute magnitude? All of which tot up and in turn transform this into a major annoyance? Have you got any modifications installed? I can remember you saying in a post of yours that you favoured the modifications that are available to download and use. I assume you are aware that the use of modifications is actually the source to a lot of problems posted in this sub-forum? If you do have mods installed, and do not want to continue playing the game with these recurring problems, get rid of 'em! If the problems are minor and you'd rather be contempt with your mods in-tact, carry on playing the game. Are you sure it's only one specific save file that has this problem? I'm going to go ahead and split this post from it's original topic, and then move it to the Troubleshooting section. Be sure to go there if you want to find help on your problem. [EDIT], in regards to the specific problems for the PS2 & Xbox, please take a look at this topic- Buglist with solutions (PC, PS2 & Xbox). That time I didn't know anything about modding, & no modds were in, & this sh*t happened. But now it hapened again. Don't know what to do. Removing the modds won't solve my problem. I don't really know what else to suggest. If your only problem is the in-game time, can you cope with it? Or is it forcing you to want to stop playing all together? Also, how do you know that removing all modifications won't solve your prblem until you give it a try? If the problem is bugging you too much, there is surely no harm in ridding of the mods. As i said, this happened 2 years ago, without modds. The current save loads only with onspeed cheat activated. Only that helps me to play this save. I have another 100% save, but the credit isn't so high. I usually go to pick up all the revenue. This is how I start the game. That's why my credit is so high. I remembered that besides the f*cked up clock, when Tom comes out the car, the classic control starts, the standart control goes away. The save file is really f*cked up. flicko Posted April 11, 2009 Share Posted April 11, 2009 You're saying that if you remove modifications, then re-install your game that it doesn't work at all..? I don't think there's anything more I can add. The problem seems to be on your end. Have you tried re-purchasing a new game, to see if the problem-re-occurs?
