John Killer118
Well, after putting it off for quite some time, I finnaly got GTA:SA on the PC. The mouse makes everything better. Unfortuatly, it's plagued by some bugs I hope you people can help me out with. Sometimes when I'm in a menue, I can't click on any of the options. So I then Esc. out of it, but now my camera's frozen and I can't move it! I pause it again and I can now use the options, then I Esc. out and my camera is still frozen. So I keep Pauseing and Esc. until either my camera is unfrozen or my PC crashes. I had to restart an entire mission because of this. So is there anyway I can fix it? Also, whenever it rains, the fog is all green and ugly. Rain used to be my favorite weather effect. Please tell me I can fix this! On a less serious note, shortly after installing GTA:SA, my desktop icons were HUGE! Now everyting from my desktop to my browser looks like it's running on an early 2000s' computer. Not a big deal, I found a few work arounds, but it's still annoying. Here's my Specs: OS: Windows XP Graphics Card Type/Memory: NVIDIA 9500 GT PCi Express. 2.0 512MB DDR3 Processor: Intel Core Duo 2.8 GHZ-Overclocked 3.2 GHZ RAM: 160GB 10,000RPM I have installed no mods. Okay. I'll do just that: OS: Windows XP Graphics Card Type/Memory: NVIDIA 9500 GT PCi Express. 2.0 512MB DDR3 Processor: Intel Core Duo 2.8 GHZ-Overclocked 3.2 GHZ RAM: 160GB 10,000RPM
NTAuthority
The mouse/menu crash problem occurs randomly on both Vista and XP, however more commonly on Vista. I haven't really found a fix for it, however on Vista running in Windows 98 compatibility mode seems to reduce the chances of the problem occurring, it will maybe help on XP too. Otherwise, it seems the problem will randomly fix itself after a while, but may come back. SA is a strange application, that's for sure. Inactive in GTA/R* title modification indefinitely pursuant to a court order obtained by TTWO. Good job acting against modding!
