yosarian
OK...probably a stupit noob question, but I just started playing a downloaded (from Direct2Drive.com) version of GTA San Andreas...for PC and Windows XP. My problem is that everytime I stop for a haircut before going to Pizza place, (which does not seem to be optional) I walk into the barbershop and the guy there tells me to take a seat in the barberchair, but before I can get to the chair, I get a message saying......Mission Failed. You freaked out the barber. Then my only option is to start over...with the same results. Any help?
Vercetti27
freaked out the barber? maybe instead of downloading you can get a normal copy to save all the confusion.
logob
How about you actually go out and buy a legitimate copy of San Andeas from a store like you are supposed to.

Blizzard14
Yes, in fact, Direct2Drive is legit and they do charge you for game downloads. As for the problem, maybe try asking in The Troubleshooting sub-forum.

Atually, Direct2Drive is a legit site for Payed downloads. It's affiliated with IGN. I payed for it and its supposed to be the same as a hard copy. logob
It's legit? My bad. I don't actually ever download games from anywhere so I just assumed it was illegal. Sorry man.

I don't believe in piracy. My son's in the music business and I know first hand how piracy affects all of us! Still having problem with the barber. Can't get a haircut and/or the mission ends as a failure because I "freaked out the barber" Its VERY frustrating, especially so early in the game. Did you try to restart the game....or like uninstall it....and then install it again....You could do that because you aren't that much into the game.......or you could like erase the savegame...and restart the storyline...that's what I would do:D
_KoE_Mzungu
The only way to freak out old Reece (and any other barber) is by pointing a weapon at him. Did you? Did you even had a weapon when you entered his studio? If you have a weapon, did you try entering the shop with the fist (or Brass Knuckles) selected?
