UseXN Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 Only now (after getting the game a day after it was released on the PC) have I started to wonder if the game has region-locked multiplayer on the PC. I am getting SICK and TIRED of seeing only 7 game servers at times, and at peak hours, no more than 30. Is GTA IV PC that unpopular is it region-locked on MP? Hydro_PT Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 Nope it's not region locked. It depends what game mode you choose and at what time of the day you play. I live in the GMT zone (UK and Portugal time) and during the day I usually find European players. During the night (2 am till 5 am) I usually find American players. And because of the cheating, a lot of people just stopped playing. I don't touch the online for almost 2 weeks now. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
UseXN Posted April 7, 2009 Author Share Posted April 7, 2009 GTA IV basically falls apart without MP. SP gets BORING after you finish the campaign. I've played on weird hours (in my time) such as 8AM, 12PM, 3PM, 6PM, 9PM, 2AM etc. I have NEVER found more than 30 servers on at once.
