mrweng
After looking around on the internet i can see that hundreds of people have been having this problem, but no fix seems to be available. The message i get is "Disconnected from game session, returning to single player" I opened the right ports which "apparently" are meant to make the game work better, but nothing has changed. I rang up Rockstar and they tried to help but couldnt do anything... i also rank my ISP and they didnt have a clue either... all my other games work fine except this one and midnight club LA. What is there i can possibly do to get this game working properly?

Bada Bing
I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but my multiplayer was working fine before I upgraded my PS3 firmware to version 2.70. I contacted playstation and they told me I need to forward ports on my router (mind you I had not done any configurations on my router prior to the PS3 firmware update and multiplayer was working fine. I have a Linksys WRT310N router and my PS3 is direct internet connected. So, I forwarded all the ports in my router and went through all kinds of other fixes I could find on the internet. Turned off the Media server on the PS3, etc. I even tried messing with the DMZ settings on my router which ended up being a big mistake because my entire internet in the whole house went down. The errors I still get are "you have been signed out of the playstation network" and "the connection to one or more players has been lost. returning to single player mode". Every time I check my internet connection to the PS3, everything is fine with that. So it's not an internet connection problem. What pisses me off is when I finally find myself in a deathmatch that is actually enjoyable, I get bumped out mid-game and everyone on there thinks I'm a wus and gave up! If anyone on here has had similar problems, please provide some insight. Thanks.

Frank White
Has anyone figured out how to fix this yet if you have put your xbox in the DMZ and port forwarded all the right ports?

018361
the problem here is rockstars servers. they dont want to face the fact that their servers are terrible. keep on calling and e-mailing to complain. they will have to do something eventually. kelzo1991
i think i may have found a solution. Disabe windows firewall and install comodo firewall free from www.filehippo.com. now i can enter any multiplayer game without and diconnection errors.
