Fantastic in-depth gang guide, great start to the first post. If you can pad out a half decent storyline to go with this it could be very good indeed. This is coming from a guy who is not easily pleased aswell.

You think that's a football riot? You're sadly mistaken. That's a full-scale protest gone sour my friend; if you watched the news you probably would of hear something about it. I think it's an obvious indication that Londoners aren't willing to sit back and take crap.

 

Gang wars are a real problem in inner-city London. There have been various shoot-outs and knifings across the city over the last couple of years; costing countless people their lives. We may not be on the same level as, say, Los Angeles. But we've been there, done that. We even got the t-shirt.

 

The fact of the matter is that London is a perfect candidate for GTA NeXt. I'm not saying it should be set there, but it's just as likely as anywhere else.

Beneath the sunny exterior that London puts up for foreign visitors, there is a nasty, dirty underbelly of crime. New York appears nice on the top, and so does London, but don't be fooled by appearances.

 

Although, about your other point, it would seem a little surreal shooting some guards outside Buckingham Palace.

you do realise theres poor areas and crime in London to? not in the center of the city but out in the suburbs in east and south London, like Peckham, Brixton and there in those areas there is plenty of crime and grittyness. maybe not like detroit or something but theres defenitley alot of crime here. enough to make a gta game of it.

That's the problem with London. When most people think of London, they think of Westminster. Most people who visit London will only visit these areas and as such will see a version of London that the tourist board creates to make money. When you start to visit the real London you will notice that it's not as "classy" or "Royal" as you think.

i agree for once with jacky fiend. Some of you guys just think of the posh london. It's like everywhere in the world their are poor parts and bad parts. I live in london and i have been to both poor and rich. London would make a great grand theft auto game. Hoodies, russian gangs along with the pakistanis, chavs football hooligans it would be great.
