Problem with [email protected]

I've been playing gta 4 for a while now. Like to beat up people and push them on the rails, but anyway.

There is that one mission (when you first meet brucy) where you need to go on the internet for the first time.

i can go to [email protected] and enter the computer, but when i open the web i don't get a homepage and i can't open my mail.

Can anyone help me?

You're either using pirated copy, or a cracked exe. Which one is it?

I don't believe this is related to the anti piracy measures, that is when you can't access the computer at all ie you press E and nothing happens. The TC can clearly access the computers but he can't access the web pages. Will move this to trouble shooting.

nope i dont do piracy. I can acces the computer, and the tutorial says you should acces your mail. Because i couldn't see the homepage i used the mail icon in the adress bar. When i do this i can see the mail, but i cant open it. If i click it nothing happens.

This is strange. Have you checked the other [email protected] cafes? Perhaps, try the laptop at Playboy's mansion too?

 

When did you notice this problem? Did it happen after installing the latest patch or something? Have you modded anything?

it happend after i installed the patch and after i installed the carspawner (dunno if you've heard from it) yhe problem is that i cant go on with the storyline. I'll look for a save that's just pass this point, bit it will still come out handy if i could use the internet
