Thanks brother. I thought that was the case, but wasn't sure. what really screwed me up in a free mode

I was in where we did not resort to killing each other,... I was in a shoot out with an ally against the cops, but the

auto-aim pointed at my bro and I pegged him once. didn't mean to.

Yeah, I was in TDM with LIN (osmael here) on different teams, pretty much teaching a couple douchebags a lesson. I had FF on and mistakenly shot my own dude as he crossed directly in front of where I was firing.

 

No biggie, I disarmed, did the universal "jump up and down which means I'm a friendly!" move and it was all good. More often than not the other person would have simply returned fire and derailed things even further

Naw you got it the right way first time i think Bada. Not that i go on freemode much, yesterday i thougth i'd give it a try. Was about 12 of us aswell, police on. I'd hunt down the person that killed me and kept killing till they left game, always fun lol Rallied round a corner, 2 guys in a cop car trying to pick up another guy. I hit the guy and the car, the driver of the other car must have got the kill. What they didn't know, i was cooking a grenade going towards the corner ha ha ha

Water squirting upwards behind my car during a race. I was like "WTF?!". And the A**hole behind me LOL'd.

 

And this one...a few nights ago in a bike race. I was AFK at the selection screen thinking I had entered a sports car race so I selected Banshee, pressed enter, and went for a walk to the loo.

When I got back and sat down as the countdown started to begin race, I was the only car there and the rest were all on bikes! WTF?! LOLz galore. True story. I invited friends to witness this aswell.

that's the universal signal for FF? cool. now I know. we need a list of sign language interpretation

for situations like. maybe there already is one and I'm just too stupid to know? maybe one day I'll

break down and get a headset. although my wife is certain to ramp up the "dork" references if I wear

one of those.

More goofiness!

 

In BDB, this one dude insisted upon flying. I think his plan was to drop people on top of the boat and then land by the glitch. All I know is he screwed up. At some point I get the lower bomb and wait outside the boat. I climb up that one tower you can climb and notice the helicopter seemingly floating in midair. Then I noticed he had somehow landed the chopper and gotten it stuck on these cables that run from the main boat portion to the middle of the boat. Still not certain if it was a glitch or a one of a kind landing.

 

In FM, FF off, RPG's, this dude tried to hit me with the chopper and became lodged somehow between a parked airplane and the fence next to the terminal. He was stuck sideways but when I hit him with the RPG, it just spun the chopper in midair without doing any damage. The guy in the chopper just kept laughing and saying "holy sh*t!" so I'm assuming he found it as amusing as I. Finally I dislodged him and blew it up proper, but that was wild to see.

Sometimes playing the co-op games the best things happen either right before the game ends or right after.

Like in DB many people (like me) love to drop a few grenades right before the game ends and watch the explosions during the cut scene.

So I'm playing noose and the guy who picked up Petro flies off without me so I jump in another heli and fly to the end point. If someone is flying there or is already there my usual MO is to fly to the right of the island and do a quick turn to end up hovering over the middle of the field where the arrow is and slowly descend until the cut scene starts. Usually this is just before you land on top of the other heli. Well during the cut scene the heli below got ripped apart by my heli and the blades of mine whacked Petro and sent him almost all the way to the water...... All the while he is saying " Now we must drink, and forget the bloodshed....."

Never saw that before.

Love those co-op games.

I climbed up a ladder where another guy was and we started defending this roof. Then when others would rock up we would fill them all with bullets. It was us two vs four others who would spawn right around the sides of the buildings.

So I was playing with my "other" account ( ) and randomly met some fun dude. We decided to play co-op together even though he was also playing on an alternate account. We kicked ass at Dealbreaker (like 6:55) then went to BDB II. So I go to crash up top of the boat and I bounce back just the slightest as he's jumping out.

 

I manage to chopper blade him as I was jumping out, but got to see him fly into the sky, OVER the bridge behind the boat and about a half mile away. Since we were so high, this was about the furthest I've seen somebody chopper bladed since I hit somebody on top of the tallest Airport tower last year. Key ingredient being height I guess. We both laughed as neither of us had seen that particular move before and fitting that it happened to our "other" accounts

 

Co-op, if you have a sense of humor, is hilarious for the amount of ways you can screw up.

i was in race, 1st place with nice lead, i took a turn a little 2 sharp. resulting in, me hitting a fire hydrent. normally u kinda' go right over them no prob. but this one took me 2 a dead stop.

 

then as i started 2 go again the water spout lifted my car.

not only did it lift me but, it had me at an angle 2 where it was spinning me round and round.

 

lol after the water spout had its way with me, i was in last place and lost the race, 2 players sent me a message both just saying lol.

i should have reset my car but, i was amazed. i tryied 2 do it on porpose in free mode but with no luck.

this happen to me today in multiplayer.

 

i was being chased by some guy for no reason just wanted to be a D**k he was talking trash on the mic about how he kept killing me...then when i killed him he would complain "oh your spawn killing" its like "dude you just did the same thing!" anyway.

 

he started to chase me...i led him to a petrol station, did a u-turn into it, he pulled up next to a petrol pump...he started to shoot me, i thought i would be creative i shot he petrol pump BANG BANG BOOOOOOOMMMMMM...he went up in flames...greatest thing i have ever done...after that he wasn't so cocky.

Is being called a noob the worst insult ever?

I ask because I was playing DB with 2 level 4 guys yesterday. I flew, they drove, I died once, whatever. After we clear the building I run to the roof just in time to jump in the heli as 1 level 4 guy flies away.... and hovers.... and hovers....(apparently he wasn't sure which spawn to go after). So I say boat. I think he thought we were supposed to ram the boat. Cause that's what it looked like he tried to do.

We crash...... So I swim to a boat and get the bikers. Then I drive the boat to the tunnel where the heli spawns. I fly home and just as I am about to land 1 guy thinks it would be funny to RPG the heli. I guess it was funny.I died.

So I run back up the hill (remember now I died twice and we're playing on hard so I have 1 life left) and the guy hides behind a wall and RPGs me again from behind. ( no I wasn't looking where they were). I go flying up on the roof. I have almost no health left so I figure I have no option but to run away to get more health. And this is sure to piss those guys off no end. So the only place I know that has health is the building that we just left( I didn't think about the hospital, so I didn't look there) I go down there and bump up my health and these guys start chasing me.

I had a great time, and all the while the guys are calling me asshole and telling me to come back. But when they finally realized they couldn't catch me and I was going to make the game last a hour they started screaming"NOOB, you f*ckING NOOOOOOOOOB" and so forth and then they finally left. Noob seems to be a bigger insult to the Europeans, it seems like they use it more.

Is this the biggest insult ever? I just think it's funny. 2 level 4 guys calling a level 9 guy a noob. And these guys don't know, I got to level 10 once before and started over so I just about made it to level 10 twice($120,000 more).

Not that I'm saying that I never do stupid things, but not in that game.

I honestly don't think a lot of people get the point of Dealbreaker/BDB II or get the fact you can try for a really good time. A lot of people sort of half grief, then play for real with no eye towards speed or skill. Hell I don't think most of them even realize there IS skill involved with the co-op modes.

 

Take the kid I played with the other day, yimmy-something. Couldn't have been older than 13. Literally did not listen to anything I told him so just getting to the chopper required a lot of talking (no, get in my car. no don't get out here. yes, now get out. please get out and get in the chopper...)

 

Then as I'm about to tell him NOT to hit triangle, he hits triangle. Fine I land and pick him up.

 

We still make decent time. I tell him to take care of the guys on the ground so of course he heads right up the stairs, dies, tries it again, dies. Fine, I'll kill everybody if need be.

 

Finally clear the building and get the boat spawn. I ask if he can fly, he says yes. I tell him to get the heli and come pick me up so I can deal with the boat spawn.

 

Instead he grabs a motorcycle, picks me up. We drive back to the helicopter.

 

He jumps in the pilot seat despite me saying "let me fly".

 

He flies off without me as I'm telling him he left without me.

 

Finally he says "oh, I left without you".

 

At this point I have to laugh because he's being serious and not griefing me.

 

I then think "you know, he IS a kid and kids need disipline so..."

 

After blowing up the chopper, the bikes, every car I could find and setting on fire any car yimmy could find, I finally picked him up and drove back.

 

Oddly, the second and third games, he managed to pay attention.

I am constantly amazed how when some people act like assholes, and then are SHOCKED when you do too.

Yesterday I was playing BDB and at the start I grab 1 car and everyone else gets in the other. We track down the armored van and I end up getting all the kills but 1( I am usually bad at this part, but I got lucky I think). So 1 guy in the other car gets out and decides to throw a grenade at my car because I didn't want to get in the van with him.( I think he is one of those guys who thinks everyone is supposed to get in the van). I didn't see him throw it and it didn't blow up my car, but it caught on fire so I had to abandon it. Then they think it would be funny to run me over. OK now we can have some fun. I decide not to get a car and I'm just running back to the heli. (We were over by the park) So I get there and I end up getting to fly(I guess these guys didn't think about this part)

I used to just fly way out to sea and leave the game, but that isn't so fun cause you don't get much of a reaction cause you're gone. Instead I will either fly to the ship, not land I will jump out and if I do it right I land on the boat while everyone else ends up in the water. Or I fly to a high building, land and blow up the heli and myself. This is what I did and it is the funniest I think because most people don't want to jump off and kill themselves so they sit there cursing me out instead. Meanwhile I respawn on the ground and can continue on.

Also I just started a new account because I made level 10 again and it is so funny how most people just won't play with someone who is of low level. I get kicked out of more co op games like this. And the few I can actually get into everyone is totally shocked that I know how to play. Also I think everyone got in the other car when we were playing BDB because I was only level 1. I have seen many people who are are highly ranked who are not good at all playing co op. And many low level who are very good players.

I played with a guy last week in BDB who was ranked 0. I don't care what rank you are, I will play with you. We play, and it turns out that he does the same as me. Once he got to level 10 he started over. It was just me and him and we did it in 5:21 without using the glitch. His name is R1o Dancer and I think in a week and a half he is back up to level 8.

Started out on a hard game of noose with two other randoms, each time the game started they both pissed of to the helicopter and flew straight to the drop off point, leaving me to pick up Petrov and head over.

 

Which was not really a problem, first two games I did it without a hitch, on the 3rd game no helicopters spawned. so without any back-up from the other two player and a sh*t load of police chasing me and only having two tires left on my police car, I decide to drive back. I get all the way to the toll both on the bridge and all I can hear is them moaning that this game is taking too long.

 

JESUS you tools, would not kill them to come and help me out. In the end they both kicked me. What’s the point in playing a co-op if you’re not willing to do the work!

I have been playing at level five for freakin ages now and all the DB and Noose has been piling up. I was at the point where i only had $373 to go. Every game i joined it would always end in mission failed. The only game that i ever wanted to actually finish i never could. I did some Noose because i thought it would be quick and easy but the people would all fight over who gets petrovik. Most of the time we would get to the helis and someone would hit P and knock him down then the police would shoot the sh*t out of him. So i tried a DB because i usually play that when i'm not on FM but everytime i managed to get teamed up with A holes. They're the ones who never pick up the money even if they are right next to it. In one game i was in the chopper and another guy was waiting for the boat spawn while we wait for this one guy to collect the last money pickup. He decides to leave it behind and get on a moto on the bottome level and drive around. So i go over to the stairs to get up there and he blows up my chopper! I ended up hosting a 5 min death match with rockets just so i could get the last few hundred dollars.

Last night on DB I had my heli parked on the top level and was working downwards. the other 3 were having a gun battle with each other on the bottom floor, so I cleaned up a few levels and headed back up to the top to ready my heli for the last part.

 

I get to the top and all 3 of them are there chucking grenades and shooting the crap out of my helicopter. I pick up the last package and the then try to head over to the boat.... ...

 

Nope, they all turned on me and started having a greande and rocket launcher party!

This kinda cracked me up last night. playing DM at airport with just melee weapons. maybe it's just me but there is

something funny about people beating each other up with baseball bats. and of course running each other over

with cars and crashing helis into each other.

 

It was a nice deviation from assault rifles at charge island with auto-aim on and mindless carnage.

 

melee weapons force you to be a little creative.

Despite pissing a couple of people off, I had a great time in FM yesterday!

 

Of course, I'm at the airport, there are like 5 of us in close proximity and I have an RPG...yeah I might just get tempted to blow us all up

 

Anyway, whoever the one pilot was that I kept torturing, gotta say the sideways/spinning bus was pretty cool. He flipped his bus, he was spinning it around so I decide to see if I can land the Maverick on top of the bus, while he's spinning. Couldn't land but the act of touching the spinning bus actually righted it, totally cool find!

 

As NOBODY had their damn mic on, my plan, once I found out the guy was a pilot was to kill him repeatedly till he grabbed a chopper, lead him on a chase, then ditch into the subway. Worked like a charm. Dude then added me as a friend so I'm thinking he also had a sense of humor about things, especially after I righted his bus for him!

Last night i was in an airport FM having a sniper battle with this lad. Then as i am running across the terminal bridge thing i got sniped by this guy who was inside the glass near the subway. I saw his name FlemShady and he reminded me of a player who did the exact same thing on match i played last year sometime. I asked him if he had an old account name Flem-dog and he said it was him! That was the guy who i learnt all the airport sniping spots from and could not beat. It was like a sniper re-union of 08

I was at a buddies house and he ended up in a game like this the other night. At first we were like 'This is gonna suck' but after a while it was funny watching everyone fighting with bats/knives and everyone trying to scatter for a chopper or car.

 

Those in the cars/choppers seemed to have a good time going back and forth over and over just rolling people over like bugs in the road so it actually ended up being a pretty badass way to play. One difference is this was FM but still probably just as much fun.

I'll tell ya brother, when I host a game like this, DM or FM, most people enter the room and leave right away. But if you stick around awhile,

it can be fun. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like an M16, but after about 5 minutes of kill, die, respawn, fire weapon, kill, die, respawn,...

it gets a little boring.
