I usualy pass the night at a cheap hotel since its 2200 kms and its good to have a good night of rest before going on with the trip. I have done this about 30 or 40 times in my life and never have i had the following. when i started in in my second home in belgium, the car tachometer was indicating 666 666 kms.. i said : wow thats the number of the devil. a few meters furtther; still in my street a funeral was passing by so i had to wait..things started to creep me out.. i went on and i arrived at the place where i should sleep ; 800 kms further, quite early, so i decided to go to the next city, 300 kms further. I ate a snack , went to the hotel i went to a lot of times and it was complete. Strange; the city isnt so touristic and all; so i went to another one in that city, and it was full as well. Turns out they had a football match and a lot of ppl came from another town so they had to sleep there. Even 30 kms from there in a small village it was full. the next city was 100 kms furter and even though it was 1 am i decided to go there. it was a small town, and my gps showed me the way to a hotel, but i got on top of a mountain, really dark, and there was nothing only : the wax museum of terror. i was scared and decided to go to the next city since there was nothing. i was almost sleeping after the wheel, and i had to do another 150 kms. i arrived there it was 4:30 am. Went to a hotel; and they told me : sorry all the hotels are full here; there was a concert of ac dc and you wont find a thing. she was right. since this is spain; it was still another 100 kms to the other city. soo i went; eventually it was 5:30 when i got there; they had cheap places and i slept well.. 800 kms further than where i thought i would sleep.. that never happened to me and i did this lots of times.. maybe the supersticions can come out .. lol .. p.S. i should be happy i have had no accident, but i had a really though time driving lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Who really gives a f*ck anyways?, its not like the devil is real. RicardoAraujoPereira Posted April 6, 2009 Author Share Posted April 6, 2009 Kinda freaky dude, but how come you couldn't lock your doors and sleep in your car if you're almost sleeping at the wheel..? my crappy car is almost 20 yrs old, the heating doesnt work well, its cold to sleep in the car, in spain its kinda desolate, so you have to watch out for thieves/perverts.. in a hotel i can have a good, safe, rest for the following kms and have a shower.
