Please complete the paramedic and vigalante missions, and take over enough territories for the end of the line mission if you can smile.gif

Tried to do it. BUT, medic mission in the middle of riot I can't get beyond seven... then cops or exploding vehicles end the missions.

 

I dont' think CJ and be improved at this late time in the story.

Burglary and especialy Firefighting would be helpful too. Tried them too. Simular results.

 

Vigalante missions with cops every 20 meters, I don't think so.

 

It's going to take someone with real persistance and skill.

 

This IS some challenge, I'm going to keep trying it to see if I can do it

BUT ANYONE ELSE HAVE A GO AT IT.

 

Zoom-Zoom has a hand on it, In the moment I forgot that.

Based on lil weasel’s comment, just remember that the Riots only take place within the city limits of Los Santos… the Riots don’t take place in any other part in the game, which leaves a large area that these missions be completed in more easily.

 

Also, I’m NOT offering to do these missions, they’re still open… I just wanted to pass along that advice.

OMG! ZMOONCHILD?! The guy from youtube who owned GTA? I personally know that the paramedic missions are easier in angel pines but still, they take so long that i just can't finish them, in the vigalante missions i can't find the second bad guy/fool but how do i do burglaries? Last one i did was robbing uncle sam (in which i did the smart thing and idn't let ryder in until all the crates were ready. but thats another story tounge.gif).

So any help at all would be apreciated.

The Primary Black Box Van is across the street from the Gym in Ganton. parked between the apartment houses with the closths lines.

In the current Riot contions only one house on a block appears to be robbable (Usually there are three next to each other) and the truck gets blown up while doing a burglary.

 

the Second is in San Fiero south west of the doerty Garage. in an alley. I'm currently trying to find a house capable of being robbed there, with no luck yet.

Also, The_Gamerr… here’s the guide that I wrote for doing the Vigilante Mission:

(if decided to do it yourself)

 

The Hunter and Rhino are the easiest vehicles to use for the mission, and they both have unlimited ammo.

 

The Hunter is easy to do the mission anywhere… pretty much.

 

The Rhino’s big disadvantage is the fact that it’s very easy for you to be pulled out of the vehicle by police and be busted... other than that it’s pretty easy.

 

You never want to abandon your vehicle for another one unless you absolutely have to. Every time you complete a level, the vehicle becomes hardened, meaning it can take more damage than before… so abandoning the vehicle for a new one would mean you would now have a vehicle that is more prone to taking damage. (thanks to OrionSR and GTA_Phreak for that)

 

For other vehicles (HPV-1000, Police Car, SWAT, Enforcer, Ranger, and FBI Rancher) the best weapon to use is the Minigun… you shouldn’t need more than 1,000 rounds to get to Level 12.

 

The worst thing you could ever do during the Vigilante Mission when using one of these vehicles is to chase after the suspect… this is something that you should never do. The Vigilante Mission is all about strategy and skill…it’s about learning the suspect’s tactics and weaknesses, and exploiting them.

 

Anyone who tells you to simply chase after the suspect in a law enforcement vehicle is just not that experienced… chasing directly after the suspect is an easy way to fail.

 

The Vigilante Mission may also require you (the player) to get out of your vehicle… you should always try shoot the suspect whenever you’re not in a vehicle… remember that you have 60 seconds to get back into a law enforcement vehicle. Being inside a law enforcement vehicle never allows your Wanted Level to drop on it’s own… being outside of the vehicle allows the Wanted Level to gradually drop, whereas staying in the vehicle will not.

 

Also, it’s hard to choose an area to do the mission at; you may be able to start in the country, but the mission may eventually lead you into the city… so you can’t always maintain the same area to complete the mission in.

 

 

Other weapons to use are:

1) M-4 (not the AK-47), the M-4 has a slightly greater range.

2) Sniper Rifle

3) SMG (MP5)

4) Desert Eagle

5) Tear Gas

(between 1500 and 2,000 rounds of ammo for M4 and SMG, but only 500 or so for the rest):

 

Always plan your attack, and never chase after the suspect. Try to figure out where the suspect vehicles are heading and head them off. When you have figured out where they are heading, then find a spot where they’ll be heading toward you (not away from you). Get out of your vehicle and shoot them as they approach, the Minigun and M-4 both work great for this. Try to shoot them while they’re still far away… the closer they are to you, then the more damage they can inflict on you, both by shooting at you and by their vehicles exploding.

 

Usually their vehicles will catch fire and explode, or just explode if you’re using the Minigun. Also keep in mind that each suspect vehicle always explodes twice after you destroy them, so be careful about getting too close to the vehicles until after you’ve seen the second explosion.

 

Sometimes when the vehicles catch on fire, the suspect(s) will get out of their vehicle(s) and start walking around. You can use the Sniper Rifle to pick them off very easily when this happens. Just be careful and not let them get too close to you, they sometimes have shotguns which will cause the most damage to you.

 

Know the locations of all the Police Bribes; this is very helpful… and remember that Police Bribes respawn after six minutes. Also know the locations for free Body Armor… they also respawn after six minutes.

 

For food, look for the venders… they're randomly scattered throughout San Andreas. It's extremely easy to use them to replenish your Energy Level (the Red Bar at the top-right of the screen). Just run through the red marker in front of them. Avoid going inside any Fast Food place for food… emerging from them with a Wanted Level with always be accompanied by a half-dozen cops shooting at you when you come out.

 

Also remember that you can use the Pay-N-Sprays to get rid of your Wanted Levels; just grab any random vehicle that’s passing by and use that to enter the Pay-N-Spray. You have 60 seconds to return to a police vehicle, which is plenty of time.

 

Use the SMG for the few instances where it’s actually easier to chase after the suspect in your vehicle, which is very rare… the suspects usually have Shotguns and AK-47’s, and it’s never a good idea to chase after them when they have these weapons.

 

Use the Tear Gas for when there are too many cops or suspects around, it’ll clear a path for you. It works well for when you’re trying to access the Pay-N-Spray with another vehicle.

 

The SMG and Desert Eagle both work well for close encounters with cops and suspects when you’re on foot. They’re both light enough to allow you to run instead of just walking.

Thank you for your help everyone!!! Lil weasel, you helped me soooooooooooo much, thank you thank you. I can't believe that you helped me on these missions. smile.gif Much appreciated, but what atribute does robbing increase? I know that vig and par increase your health and armor, and firetruck makes you fireproof.

 

ZMOONCHILD thanks a lot for your guide to beating the vigalante mission, it was extremely useful, and it helped a lot in the overall game, not just the vig.

 

DREVIL919 thanks for completing the vig missions, much apreciated.

The Burglary mission helps by allowing CJ to sprint without tiring. Running from cops, gangs, etc.

In the mission Running Dog CJ is able to catch the Drug dealer quicker.

It's a good one to do early in the game, like just after you gain the Johnson home as a safe house. You don't have to wait for Ryders Home Invasion mission to do it.

All of these submissions are useful when you do your replay of the game.

If you do the Triathalon too. I was like way behind when I did it and the infinate sprint allowed me to catch up and pass the other racers to win.

 

Since you're in the last laps of the game. When you play it again... Don't use Cheats... Also weapons/body armour are all over the place. spend some time just looking around. Run a lot as fast as CJ can to gain stamina/healt benefits. Grab an online map anc search out the prizes (Tags, Horseshoes, Photo ops, oysters) Now that you've made it to the end the replay should be easier.

 

On the hard bits, take your time, relax, it's only a game.

Thanks lil weasel and i admit, i cheated a lot :| But only on things like jetpacks and armor and weapon sets, stuff like that. But now at least i know the city so well that im not going to need cheats. But i'm dfinetely going to need help in the schools. I still can't do a stoppie past all those cones.

If it wasn't for the difficult bits the game wouldn't be as interesting.

I have played the game over 17 times now. And I still have not been able to complete the boating, Motorcycle schools.

I've still got the Jumps to find and do. (I do have the maps.)

 

I spent four hours a day for two weeks passing the Flying School the first time I played the game (On the PS2). After playing the first game I found that I could steal into the Airports and borrow the planes. Flying without stress of the mission was easier.

 

In the second game I spent most of my time just looking around. Finding many freebies. Haven't bought anything since that game. (i.e. weapons/body armour.) I found stuff I had missed in the last two games, too. so there is lots explore.

 

Try different methods/weapons in the missions. Though there are a few missions where you are forced to use inferior weapons. And always save a difficult mission. Use all eight save slots.

Hey btw im having trouble with end of the line. Any useful tips or sugestions? Because i get past big smoke and then chase tenpenny around until sweet starts to slip. Then everytime a car or something gets in my way and i crash and watch as sweet slips and falls off. I don't want to have to beat smoke everytime and then fail to catch sweet and have to do everything over. Big smoke is hard enough already. smile.gif Any suggestions? if not ill just make a topic about this in the misiion help forum.

(btw i stopped cheating cuz the game seemed pretty pointless when you cheat so no cheats please.)

the hard part is not following the Firetruck on the Freeway.

Don't try too hard to follow it.

But, Move in close. Keep a watch on the road ahead of it. To anticipate its collision with other vehicles.

Drive as straight as possible behind it, sometimes crossing over the medien.

to many jerky movements you will lose control.

An important tip; the mission 'End of the Line' is divided into three parts. The last part is when you've killed Big Smoke. As soon as you get in the car for the chase, head towards your safehouse in Ganton. This will fail the mission since Tenpenny escapes. Now save your game. When you restart the mission, you don't have to kill BS all over again; you'll only have to do the chase part. wink.gif

 

As for the chase part, remember that your car is all proof, which means you don't have to dodge the molotovs thrown at you. They'll not damage the car. Just keep your sight on the firetruck and try to follow without crashing into things. As long as you keep him on your radar, you'll do fine.
