When Niko travels by train, he is the only one (or at least that's what I think...) that you can see with one of the "cinematics" cameras. Is there a way to put more pedestrians travelling inside? and maybe, I don't know some sax player? I guess this travels lacks of realism, the trains (like in real life) must have a bunch of people inside...well, I don´t know maybe is not that necessary... I don´t want to "use" the trains in the same way I ride the cars, I just want that they were more full of people, only for realism purposes. There are mods that increase the numbers of pedestrians on the streets, and the city looks, we can say, closer to reality, streets are a little more crowded. That´s all; more people inside the trains, like we see on the trains in real life... And I don´t think is possible to shoot people in the train, I don´t know if is possible even to move inside them, maybe is not possible to edit the engine for something like this, but, guees what? I think is possible to PUT MORE PEOPLE INSIDE THE TRAINS, PUT MORE PEOPLE INSIDE THE TRAINS & maybe PUT-MO-RE-PEO-PLE-IN-SIDE-THE-TRAINS (subliminal message). That is something else, put children, animals, etc. If you don´t want to shoot children or the doggy on the corner, just don´t do it, or maybe when you point at them the gun just locks and can´t shoot. We have this mod in fallout 3, i think its name is "killable children" you can blow them away if you want, is a little impressive but, c´mon you are not killing them for real...Is just a game (that comes alive every hour, getting inside of me, possesing me like a demon far away from hell, like a very heavy drug....)...errr... izzy eckerslike Posted April 6, 2009 Share Posted April 6, 2009 Have you tried driving down the subways ? in certain places where the line appears visible below street level you can drive off the road & drop down onto the track & head down the tunnel underground, dodge the trains as they come at you & as you pass thru stations you can stop & mow down the peds waiting on the station, this then triggers the police who try to intercept you further down the underground track, you can also get to the unlocked other islands this way if you can navigate where you are heading Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The only difference is that it is smack-you-in-the-face obvious. "That's my wife's car!" ...I feel like saying, "...your wife is a man? That's odd!" I'm waiting for the next patch to fix this. It's so annoying, because I use the taxi all the time. I guess R* couldn't be bothered with fixing this before launch or the consoles couldn't handle the additional dialog. Oh that's right, Vice City was the stripped down yellow washed piece of crap. Just Kiddin, VROCK AND FERNANDO'S Emotions fm! GTAIII and SA had a train. So does IV. I've lived in Miami, so you're wasting your time arguing with me about it. Anyone who's even been to Miami will understand why the concept of a commuter train isn't even plausible. bp2018 Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 Currently you wouldn't be able to ride the train standing anyway, it would result in death by falling over, the same thing that happens when you try standing on a car and it takes off. Perhaps in the next game they will add handholds into the train that you can press a button to hold onto, but uhm, thats not going to allow you to walk around with the current physics set, people do get on and off the trains but most peds seem to favour standing on the platform all day, perhaps Niko has a bit of a funky smell or something. Besides trains, they have Metrorail which is an above ground subway but its not nearly as big as NY's. I live in South Florida and grew up between the 2 main train lines that come down here. See I'm from New York, and the trains that are underground eventually head above ground and we still refer to them as the subway. Hell the majority of subway lines are above ground (Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and parts of northern Manhattan). Except in NY we don't refer to the Long Island Railroad or the Metro North Railroad as subways, even though they basically begin underground at Penn Station in Manhattan. I've always defined a rapid transit system designed for commuters in a metropolitan area to be "subways", be it the El Train in Chicago or the Metrorail in Miami. Or do you wanna torture or kill those? But I think its would be nice to see a women walking with a dog at streets. And the children, children really would be a nice but how that gone be realize? Where children gonna be? Walking with mom or dad can be good idea because that maybe make the game more realistic. But some psycho buy the game to make them fantasy real, killing, torturing or doing mods to do some sexual things to children in game... And that's not good! Not too realistic, but fun none the less. If they wanted make it more palatable (less offensive), all they would need to do is take the Euphoria out of it and just make the dogs just drop to the ground (like when you run over a ped that's lying on the ground) when you hit them or flip to the side (just a little). In the first Mafia game, this is what happened. You run one over and just hear a thump. Shoot one and it gives a short cry/whimper and falls to the ground. It was tasteful. Riding a bike and smacking the side of a dog, hurting it, falling face first in the street and getting you'r butt chewed up by a stray angry mutt .
