dmnrmr Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 So i decided to play this game all over again. And i just wanted to install some cars. So i downloaded cars and installed SAMI. Ok, it runs fine. I choose the path for gta and the mod, write the name of the car and install it. But actucaly what it does - it only modifies handling.cfg, carcols.dar and vehicles.ide. It just doesn't add .txd and .dff files in gta3.img. What could be the solution? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Supra4 Posted April 6, 2009 Share Posted April 6, 2009 Check the gta3.img's properties and unclick the "read-only" option. If that doesn't work, install everything manually. I'd suggest going manual all the way, but that's just my personal opinion. I've seen SAMI screw up files beyond repair, so I'm not a big fan of it.
