atheistsw Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 It would be for R* to implement a VERY SIMPLE patch to filter between auto-aim being ON or OFF before you join a game. I mean, it's not difficult, but so many times I try to join a game and noobs are using AA BS. In all honesty it shouldn't even be an option in multiplayer but if they do insist on allowing it at leave give me the ability to avoid it and simply play with other like minded individuals who despise it at MP level. I gave up hope long ago of R* doing anything to improve the MP mode considerably, but this would be a nice 1 year anniversary present now that I've stated to get back into the game after so much time because MP still kicks ass if you can get into a decent game, but AA is a joke IMO. saintdave Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 So you mean you want the option to be able to turn AA off during a MP game even if the host has it enabled (which happens for most matches)? If so that would be good but the host and his team mates would still have it very easy as they would still be using it. I do agree it shouldn’t be in MP period but there was a learning period at the start of every ones MP experience and this helped adjust to using what you use (mostly) in single player. Which is shown by his absolute thinking that if his platform version has this filter option, every version must have it! I'd like such a filter for PS3 too...I get highly annoyed by having to enter a sh*tload of games to find one with no AA....and then it's at the Airport only... Fuel trucks that cause enormous fireballs, buildings that collapse, burning helicopters that reliably explode on impact with the ground or other players’ heads and stuff like that. Been toying about with trying to get either me or other people to come flying out of their windscreens online. Always makes for a WTF and funny moment he he Tip: Drivers corner bumper to their passengers bumper i think tends to lead to them coming out. I know what you mean John, it does add a bit of varity not knowing but it does tend to be Happiness/Coloney Island, AA on, Rifles. Remember when Red Faction came out and started the whole "blastable background" fashion in FPS' ? That has never taken off. Ah great, so I guess X-Box got an update for LATD eh?
