Boberto
Some of the shadows and trees even those little flag have a weird render on their edge, like theres "noise" in the image Is it possible to have a classical render? because at day time, its damn ugly to have little dots in the shadows/trees I took a screenshot to explain it better with flags Edited April 5, 2009 by Boberto
Red_153D
Turn off the Definition (or just press "P") and they vanish like a fart in the wind. Tried by myself
Boberto
I tried it,the P thing. it make the game blury like i need glasses or some sh*t it dont quite fix the rendering, just attemp to mask it in a ugly way I have the same problem in Call of juarez with trees i guess its simply the sh*tty next generation rendering,i see what they trying to do with shadow but it doesnt work. alot of compagny would learn from Crytek coding, thats for sure. john88z
yes this is how GTA chose to render objects like these. You cant fix it. Some guy made a mod which made the tress and fences alot smoother but it added to popup severely. The second picture can be made better by turning the shadow quality to high or very high. On my old card I just turned shadows off, made everything look less grainy and I could use high textures.
Vicetopia
Just use the Ultimate Tweak. One of them should suit your needs.

perfectpitch
Increase shadow quality. Nope - that doesn't fix it... I have My Shadow resolution on Very High and it still appears.... thats the way the game renders it. FULL STOP!!! And sadly enough Crysis does use the same type of shadowing, however it seems less noticable in their engine... I don't know why. Perhaps because it is first person.... weaveribm
Dithering is for speed of rendering, but I'd still like to see smooth shadows from ingame settings even at 2fps, just so I know that upgrading hardware would mean running fast enough to have smooth shadows and smooth fps. Built to take advantage of future machines I heard, but in that case there should be smooth undithered shadows right now from settings On the other hand driving under the elevated railway with the sun high is very beautiful and Bullitt-like, even without smooth shadows: and I find I don't notice the dithering after a while playing
