Gta Guy 108 Posted April 6, 2009 Author Share Posted April 6, 2009 I found your old topic, and you said to remove the arial font from the windows fonts folder. Are you for certain that this works? I use arial alot, but I can always move it back just in case. Like you said about the fonts.wtd, I dont think Rockstar could down scale the fonts at that such big resolution. Gta Guy 108 Posted April 7, 2009 Author Share Posted April 7, 2009 I personally think it could be done with a gxt editor, but the only hard part of it is finding where the text is, it has to be scripted in order to pick up the title and username. High Posted April 9, 2009 Share Posted April 9, 2009 the text in the start of the clip (that haven't been removed in the earlier mod) covers only 8 seconds of a video so you can just use an external editor to cut it off the video. that's what many people do. Once/if you have one of 'em, navigate to PC/TEXTURES/HUD.WTD Locate these 2 images in the archive: watermark_socialclub watermark_rockstar Export these textures, edit them & clear the image so they're blank, then import them back. Voila! As for the intro text, instead of deleting a font (wtf?!), just put in a few seconds of useless footage at the beginning then cut it out with video editing software, as was mentioned. Is there any way to remove these watermarks? Usually, to remove watermark from video, i used VideoCharge Studio software. This tool can crop video, blur some area with watermark or fill watermark area by using nearest colors. It’s almost 11 years now since someone last replied to this topic. I have something to add for people who will check this topic for the problem. Deleting fonts is the dumbest move someone can take in order to get rid of just a few seconds of text. I just tested exporting a video with 10 seconds of a clip at the start. It started appearing at 2 seconds and completed disappeared at 8 seconds. So that means R* reduced the time to 6 seconds now. I removed the watermarks of R* logo and social club by downloading ‘hud.wtd’ file from internet and replacing it with the original one (For Complete edition I manually edited the file with OpenIV and replaced the DDS images in TBoGT and TLAD folders) I found this comment from a YouTube video uploaded in 2012. Maybe this can also help people instead of replacing hud file.
