The lost and Damned: Las venturas

Recommended Posts

The more i play TLAD the more i wish it was set in San Andreas. Can you imagine cruising down the freeways of Las Venturas with clay terry and Jim. I think rockstar should have written out a story line that is based in San Andreas and focuses more on biker gang wars.

True. I think San Andreas would have been a perfect setting for the lost. As long as they add the song Born to be wild. LOL. It seems like San Andreas highways would be great, then stop at some mom and pop restaurant where its in the middle of nowhere.

I don't know... California doesn't really strike me as the sort of place The Lost & Damned could take place. It seems to... Sunny. I prefer the dark and gritty atmosphere Liberty City gives. As I feel it better suits a story like this one.

you are stupid. the biker era started in california, the sunny highways. The deserts, in real life. you would never see a biker cruising through new york city.

There's no reason to get offensive. It only makes you look like less of a man.

Out of the four recognized Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs (as designated by The FBI) only one of them started in California (Hell's Angels). The others started in various areas across America. Saying that motorcycle gang crime started in California is only half-true.

Not too mention the fact that most OMGs have chapters across The United States, and are rarely confined to a single city or state. The Hell's Angel's New York Chapter is one of the largest in America, and is responsible for the assault on Roberta Shalaby in 2008. In that same year there was an alleged plot by The Hell's Angels to murder Mick Jagger.

I'm not arguing that motorcycle clubs don't belong in California. I'm simply stating that for the sort of story The Lost & Damned tells; is better suited to the gritty streets of New York.

I believe that the Mongol brotherhood, who the Lost are based on, started out in LA.

I remember seeing a screenshot of Johnny on his bike before TLAD came out, and a patch on the back of his jacket said Las Venturas 2004 or something like that - he has that same patch in game, it's just too small to see clearly.

The Lost are based on the Outlaws. They must be.

They even have the same motto:

"God forgives. Outlaws don't."

The Outlaws were formed in Illinois, which I would think is a pretty 'gritty' place.

The Outlaws Motto:

"God Forgives... Outlaws Don't!"

The Lost Motto:

"The Almighty Forgives... But The Lost Don't!"

I think it's pretty safe to say The Lost are based on The Outlaws MC. With The Angels Of Death being based on the infamous Hell's Angels MC (as shown by their popularity; selling merchandise and whatnot).

Actually, the in-game website of the lost (I think its www.lostmc.com or something like that) states they started in San Andreas. Go read your basic facts kiddies before ranting.

I can see The Lost or The Angels Of Death making an appearance later on down the line in one of Grand Theft Auto IV's sequels. They are based on real life Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs, and like real OMGs they have chapters all over the United States. I can pretty much assume that we're going to see them in pretty much every Grand Theft Auto to come out of this era of games.

Isn't there a game coming out where you play a biker in a Las Vegas-like city?

Now remember, I am Australian. But isnt Las Vegas in the State of Nevada, Not the state of California. So, all this abuse that some of you guys are hurling at each other about biker gangs in California and stuff, should probably get their facts right before calling each other out.

Anyway, It would be awesome riding in a group talking to each other riding through the desert passing all the huge mesa's with an iconic song playing in the background...

The lost are based on every motorcycle gang not just 1.

They resemble outlaws because of their motto "Almighty forgives, the lost dont" and if u do gang war mission you will sometimes hear johnny say "god forgives, the lost dont." The Lost cant be based strickly on outlaws because outlaws accept caucasians while the lost are multiracial MC (Jim being hispanic and clay being african american). one of the MC irl accepts multiracial people.

They resemble Hells Angels because of their club house (Looks exactly like the hells angels club house in NYC)

Also im not sure which one but one of the MC irl doesnt want to take their flag international and perfer to have less members. In the lost you will hear clay Terry or jim asking johnny if they ever take the lost international like the angels of death. Johnny says no and perfers to have real brothers around.

Yes but SA is Cali.

And Nevada, since it incorporates both parts of California and Las Vegas.

Same as not expecting bikers in philly or chicago.

They're everywhere, dude.

I personally think they should remake San Andreas or at least give it some physics, that alone would make the game even more epic.

But to stay on topic it would be sweet to set TLAD in San Andreas, or at least in Los Santos. That would just seem right to me. Although, I know nothing about biker gangs but I'm sure there are many in LA.

That would suck i'd rather have a whole new game.

On topic, i guess it'd be alright.

You'll probably do missions for The Angels of Death when they make San Andreas.
