Feral Slug Posted June 26, 2009 Share Posted June 26, 2009 when they burned down the clubhouse, i almost cried IRL. i would spend quite some time in there every day playing hi-lo and stuff. i wish you could go hang out at Terry's, Clays, or Angus's house to play cards and watch TV. Volt Krueger Posted June 29, 2009 Share Posted June 29, 2009 Why did people hated the second safehouse so much ? it was an awesome hideout, and very fitting for a down and dirty criminal like johnny. I didn't hate it when i first got it, but i wasn't really that excited either. I mean, i had a killer clubhouse to hang out in. But now that it's full of guns and has a bunch of bikes on the lawn, i kinda like it. Although it would've been nice to still have the clubhouse, and atleast one other safehouse on one of the other islands...it's a pain in the ass to have to go all that way whenever you wanna save. Hail a tax then just skip the driving and you'll instantly be there. And with autosave the only reason you could want to save at the clubhouse would be because you're about to turn off the game, so the loss of your bike wouldn't matter as it would be right there when you turned the game back on. They'd also make good safehouses. rockstar made a big mistake not to think of that. Just save an extra file after "diamonds in the rough". It's later in the game but right before the chain missions that lead to Jims death. I have this file and my end-game file. Plus part of getting 100% is doing some of the activities in the clubhouse so this is a smart idea as you can knock down some out-of-storyline things while still being able to hang with jim and take advantage of his abilities. Niko even talked to Philly B about this and said "he is a rat in a mans disguise" But as far as Ray goes he really didnt have too much control and ended up getting what was coming to him.
